I'm back again with more tales about WOO's presence at the recent BakkenCon 2025! As a person who is into collectibles, I must say that there’s something about wrestling merch that hits different. Whether it’s a T shirt, a signed photo, or a collectible card, it’s more than just stuff. It’s about a piece of the story. At BakkenCon 2025, WOO’s merch booth was a veritable treasure chest.

The Highlights

• Signed 8x10 Photos: Classic. Wrestling fans know the value of having a signed piece of history to hang on the wall.

• Vintage ECW Posters: A brilliant nod to wrestling’s hardcore past, showing WOO respects where wrestling has been.

• Signed Perry Saturn WOO Cards: Unique, collectible, and one-of-a-kind. You can’t get these just anywhere.

• The WOO Championship Belt: Technically not for sale, but it stole the show. Fans posing with it looked like kids on Christmas morning.

Why It Mattered

• Nostalgia Meets Future: By blending vintage posters with WOO’s own branded merch, they connected wrestling’s past with its future.

• Personal Connections: Signed items aren’t just things you own. They’re reminders of the moment you got them.

• Visibility: Everywhere you turned at the con, someone was carrying a piece of WOO merch. That’s free promotion and proof that people bought in.

As someone who has shelves (ok that would be an exaggeration 🤣, perhaps a shelf ROW instead) of wrestling merch at home, I know the power these items hold. Every shirt, every poster, every autograph tells a story. BakkenCon gave fans a chance to start their own WOO story.

I couldn’t help but think about the first wrestling shirt I ever bought. It had The Undertaker VS Hulk Hogan printed on it and was likely campy looking in the eyes of adults. But to the "young me", it wasn’t just any T shirt, it was an identity! That’s what I saw happening at BakkenCon — fans proudly wearing WOO, signalling they’re part of something new.

WOO merch wasn’t just about sales. It was about giving fans a way to say: “I’m with this.” And that’s powerful.
