As we continue to celebrate celebrate the world of Splinterlands with their latest core set release, Conclave Arcana, it's only fitting to take a step back & appreciate the journey that led us here — a retrospective look at the evolving history of Splinterlands within the vast & storied lands of Praetoria.
Since the earliest cracked Alpha packs in 2018 to the unfolding Conclave Arcana saga in 2025, Splinterlands has been a game shaped by bold expansions, player-driven innovations & a community that never stops evolving.
To celebrate the incredible journey so far, I've put together a visual timeline highlighting major milestones along the way:

Timeline Highlights:
2018 – SteemMonsters launches; Alpha and Beta packs define the first collectors
2019 – Rebrand to Splinterlands; Untamed expansion announced
2020 – Chaos Legion teased & launched; Guilds introduced
2021 – SPS governance token announced; massive user growth surge
2022 – Riftwatchers & Modern/Wild formats reshape competitive play
2023 – Soulkeep beta & Rebellion set bring new life to the battlefield
