Great to see the Locked contract added to CAKE and I've just updated from Flexible to the 10 Weeks contract where the APR is much better. I think PanCake starts being sweet again and we might see other investors be addicted to it. ;))
I'm hoping so as well. Would be nice to get back up to $20 a token again. Granted we are in a low point now in the general landscape of crypto so for me it's all about stacking as much as possible right now to be as well prepared as possible for the next rally whenever that might be.
CAKE, please don't be like MDX.
MDX also showed the very high APR for locked period, especially for 1 year lock. After that, MDX change the APR to 3-5%, and you can not withdraw your money because it was locked.
You only can watch your money sit there with very low APR and can not do anything. So painful :)
Yep, once locked it's locked from the looks of it and also the APY can change based on how many people are in it. You're not locking the APY which I feel confuses a lot of people.
I checked CUB Kingdoms and found very high APR/APY.
I will keep tracking on the APR. If the APR is real, then it's better to keep CAKE in CUB Kingdoms than Locked CAKE.
It's more flexible, I can withdraw my CAKE anytime
It's not they are currently figuring out if they want to continue with CAKE or not via the new system. Right now it's on the old contract and isn't earning anything.
Cake still has a high print value and I don't know the exact numbers however a lower APR being paid to most people means a lower emission or emissions to go somewhere else which I think is the variable APY on the flexible. The more things however that CAKE does and is used for the better. I'm curious to see the tokenomic side of things which I believe gets released here soon. Only bad part about this is the CAKE used on other DeFi platforms kind of went bottoms up because of the locking period and now the low 11% APY on the flexible.
Honestly, I think it's a good idea to get the attention of investors again, because at first they were good APY rates, but as more and more people invested the rate went down, so this can rescue the confidence of investors, it's a pity I sold my CAKE a long time ago when this chaos started.
This is an interesting development but not sure if it is too little too late. Cake was once a mighty beast but it lost out to Anchor Protocol which matched its Pancakes APY in the ANC-UST pair on Anchor Protocol.
Once cake dropped so to did Anchor Protocol.
I find once a project loses its customer base it is hard to get them back. As seen with Ethereum and Binance.
UST trade volume is through the roof today also so looks like more people are going across.

Oh, thanks for letting me know.
Let me check it. If it's true, then I will sell CAKE and put in another assets

That is why I strongly prefer banking with the Crypto farm than just the normal banking system

That sounds interesting especially for those who are in for the long-term.

Do you reckon this changes the equilibrium point and actually makes CAKE sustainable?
Always interesting to compare CAKE's tokenomics to that of CUB...

I just learned about Pancakeswap yesterday. Interesting platform. Thanks for sharing this information on ListNerds.
