NFT Crowdfunding Album Recording on Hive?
Some may remember a post i did a year ago how my friends started to record an album. They wanted to do it all by themselves with equipment they had.

Well a year later they realized that they don't have equipment for it and it is not that easy to do with lack of it :D
So after a short brake two weeks ago they had a first day in a studio (more on it in the photo story in another post).
They did a bit of Crowdfunding in our town :) and me wanting to help in that, got an idea of minting NFTs that will give the owner of the NFT a full album with all the art for it when album is finished. And the owner of NFT will most probably get a drink from me if we ever meet in person :)
I am new to this, i am making it up as it goes, but aren't we all? If you get an NFT you will be the OG supporter of the band, with a transaction on the blockchain to prove it :)
Few live performances
Most of the band i did manage to get on hive, they are not really active, but they are not active on any other social networks so i will forgive them. I am not sure does @klapklapklap still has the keys, @ithil94 and @petro96 still do :)
All of the earning from this post and some future ones will be donated for recording of this album. I hate powering down so i will most probably just buy out hive earned this way.

Interesting way to apply a contract for the album, I don't even know how it can be done but I think it's perfectly possible. I'd like to at least convert my guitar transcriptions to NFT, but I don't know if it's possible.
In the same way, I support them to record their album and because I know what this world of professional recording is like. 👍

@juliakponsford made NFTs of her guitar playing on NFTShowroom. Now @nfttunz made contracts that are really chap to mint and i like that for this kind of stuff. I must admit i am not sure how the contracts there work but it is ok for what i am trying to do.
this is a great trick to build a band community.
I experienced the same thing, all this time I was very interested in becoming a music engineering/music producer, but I didn't have the right equipment to do that.

what I do now is write down all the knowledge that I get, so that knowledge becomes a theory for me to re-study, until one day I will put it into practice, when I am able.
development of the tech definitely made everything more accessible. thinking about doing it 10-15 years ago would cost a lot. but still some things like good recording of drums is hard to do without the right place and equipment.

Accordions aren't as cool as banjos, but they're definitely cool.

There is no secret of success. Hive is a social community network. Find communities that you are interested in, have fun, be active. There is no shortcut here. If you find one, it will probably be short lived.
