While I'm not claiming that these are the best setups in the game, I did find that they felt the most rapid to me. It's not always about the numbers; sometimes, it's just about what makes you feel good, you know? Anyway, here are my top choices so far in this order.

Turbo Kid and Red Blaze Kart It's a wild combination. It was really hard to control the first time I used it, but once I got used to the turning, it went by so quickly. The combination of Red Blaze's top speed and Turbo Kid's boost ability gives the impression that you are flying. This setup can carry you if the map is heavy on straights.

Drift Queen and the Thunder Drift Kart This one is a little harder to control, but if you time it right, the cornering is smooth. With this combination, I don't always win, but when I do, it usually comes from a flawless drift around the bends. possesses both a stylish and rapid feel. When you need it most, the special ability of Drift Queen comes into play.
