Hello, gamers, all right? Today I want to talk about plot twists in videogames that left me stunned at the time and the final outcome is usually 180 degrees.
Hola, gamers ¿todo bien? Hoy quiero hablar de giros de trama en videojuegos que en su momento me dejaron atónita, y es que el desenlace final suele ser de 180 grados.

Silent Hill 2
One of the most shocking scenes in the story is undoubtedly when James finally sees the videotape in the old room he and Mary occupied in Silent Hill. James was tormented searching for his wife, who he believed to be dead, all over the city, only to end up unlocking an extremely disturbing memory: as a result of the trauma, James ended up forgetting everything and thanks to the VHS he sees in the room, he remembers that he himself murdered Mary, who had a strange terminal illness, which demanded all of James' time. Even when she is hospitalised, James visits her less and less, as he feels his youth and vitality fading every time he sees Mary's condition. Despairing of Mary's condition and wanting a break from the responsibility of caring for his wife, James ended up suffocating her.
Una de las escenas más impactantes a nivel de historia es sin lugar a dudas cuando James por fin ve la cinta de video en la antigua habitación que ocuparon él y Mary en Silent Hill. James estaba atormentado buscando a su esposa que creía fallecida por toda la ciudad, para terminar desbloqueando un recuerdo sumamente perturbador, y es que a raíz del trauma James terminó olvidando todo y gracias al vhs que ve en la habitación, recuerda que él mismo asesinó a Mary pues, ella tenía una extraña enfermedad terminal, la cuál demandaba todo el tiempo de James, aun cuando ella está hospitalizada, James la visita cada vez menos ya que siente que su juventud y vitalidad se va yendo cada vez que ve el estado de Mary. Desesperado por el estado de Mary y queriendo descansar de la responsabilidad de cuidar a su esposa, James terminó asfixiándola.
The way in which together with James we discover the truth is quite shocking, the whole construction of the scene leaves us with a bad taste in our mouths, for that and other aspects it is my favourite game of the saga.
La forma en la que junto con James descubrimos la verdad es bastante impactante, toda la construcción de la escena nos deja con un mal sabor de boca enorme, por eso y otros aspectos es mi juego preferido de la saga.
Resident Evil
One of the things that surprised me the most was discovering that our mentor and boss was actually a traitor working for the Umbrella corporation and that he had brought us to Spencer Manor as guinea pigs for the pharmaceutical company. It wasn't something I expected the first time I played the game so it was surprising.
Una de las cosas que más me sorprendió fue descubrir que nuestro mentor y jefe realmente era un traidor que trabajaba para la corporación Umbrella y que además nos había llevado a la mansión Spencer como conejillos de indias de la farmacéutica. No era algo que me esperara la primera vez que jugué el juego, así que fue sorprendente,
Braid
This one I could even less see coming. Imagine playing the whole game believing you're going to save a princess and when you finish the game you realise that the princess was actually always running away from you because you're the stalker... as crazy as it sounds, it really blew my mind, it was something I didn't expect at all.
Este mucho menos lo veía venir. Imagínense jugar todo el juego creyendo que salvarás a una princesa, y cuando terminas el juego te das cuenta que la princesa realmente siempre estuvo huyendo de ti ya que eres el acosador... así de loco como suena, a mi realmente me dejó atónita, era algo que para nada esperaba
