The Evil Within 2 | No Rest for the Wicked! [No Commentary Gameplay]


Welcome back to another gameplay!
This time we're going into the sequel of The Evil Within 1. It's name The Evil Within 2 and it follows the events of the first game after 3 years. We find a washup ex-cop Sebastian trying to cope with the traumatic experience of being connected to the STEM system under the control of Rudvik.
One of the interesting parts of this beginning of the game is that we get a sort of reconstruction of the death of Sebastian's daughter, Lily. Granted it is a recurring nightmare, it gives us some insight on the psyche of the character. Also, our friend has gotten into a drinking habit.
Our nightmare is interrupted by the arrival of Kidman. And we are told some breaking news about Lily. Our daughter is alive and we have to rescue her! She's been under the care of an organization called Mobius and the built another STEM system. This time, Lily is the core of the system.
And we have no other choice as they agents abduct us.

The new STEM system had a critical failure and now we're going to be sent into this place to rescue our daughter and maybe the first extraction team sent before us. Kidman tell us that someone will be inside to help us. However, we're going in the dark and reluctantly.
And things turn out to be worse than we thought. After going through the first instance of information and metal construct, we'll end up in a weird building. Here we'll find the first member of the search team, Baker. He's dead. And we can see the instant of this demise in a weird photography display.
Of course, we'll waste no time finding more bad things happening around. A guy with a camera is committing all sorts of heinous acts around this place. And he's also a sort of gore artist. Also, this means we're not even in the place where we should start looking for Lily. Time to find a way out of this building and far from the psycho.
However, he'll find us first and send one of his creations to try to stop us.

And after escaping the monster, we'll finally get to Union, the town that operates as a layer of this new STEM system. Things don't look very good. Here we'll have another opening scene for the presence of monster that's very reminiscent of a Resident Evil game. And it's a lovely display of cinema.
Moving along, we'll experience the first tremor of the game. As the place is collapsing, these will become more frequent. Now, we've got to hurry and find Lily. But first, a bad scene comes to happen as a member of the search team is chased by monsters and a soldier falls protecting him.
After sneaking past the monsters and getting into this safe house, we'll meet this person named O'Neal. He'll give us some insight about the Union and how to look for the Core with our communication device. Plus, he'll give us the location of certain items to have more firepower and be able to deal with these monsters with ease.

No Hay Descanso para los Desventurados

¡Bienvenidos a otro gameplay!
Ahora vamos con la secuala directa de The Evil Within 1. Lleva por nombre The Evil Within 2 y sigue los eventos de la primera parte tres años después de la conclusión del episodio en el Hospital Mental Beacon. Ahora Sebastian es un ex-policía que se encuentra intentando superar el trauma de haber sobrevivido a estar atrapado en STEM bajo el control de Rudvik.
Un detalle interesante de este juego es que nos lleva a una pesadilla recurrente del pensanaje principal donde se ve parte de lo ocurrió en la muerte de su hija, Lily. Ahora sabemos que se siente culpable del hecho. Además, todo el trauma lo ha hecho caer en el vicio de la bebida.
Nuestra pesadilla es interrumpida por la aparición de Kidman. Aquí se nos revela que Lily sigue con vida. Ha estado bajo el cuidado de una organización llamaba MOBIUS. Ahora nos buscan para rescatarla. Aunque también resulta que se ha construido otro sistema STEM y Lily es el núcleo de este mismo.
No tenemos opción de elegir si ir o no, somos secuestrados por unos agentes.

El STEM nuevo tuvo una falla crítica y ahora nos envían para solucionar el problema. Esto implica descubrir el paredero de Lily y del equipo de búsqueda que fue enviado antes que nosotros. Kidman nos dice que nos espera alguien dentro del sistema para ayudarnos.
Aunque todo resulta ser peor de lo que pensábamos. Después de pasar por el primer constructo mental dentro de STEM, nos encontramos en un lugar bastante extraño. Aquí vemos como el primer mienbro del equipo de búsqueda ha sido asesinado y su muerte está congelada en el tiempo en una especie de fotografía que se mueve.
No pasará mucho tiempo para que otras cosas malas ocurran. Hay un sujeto con una cámara cometiendo cualquier cantidad de atrocidades por aquí. Supuestamente es un artista. Además, esto implica que no estamos ni cerca del lugar donde deberíamos estar buscando a Lily. Así que hay que salir de aquí y tomar tanta distacia como nos sea posible de este psicópata.
Sin embargo, este enviará a una de sus creaciones para atraparnos.

Después de escapar del monstruo, llegaremos a Union, el pueblo que funciona como ambiente dentro de STEM. Las cosas no se ven muy bien aquí. Tendremos una escena muy interesante donde se nos presentan monstruos parecidos a los del juego anterior como si fuera un corto tomado de un juego de Resident Evil.
Avanzando, sentiremos uno de los primeros temblores. Como este lugar esta colapsando, ocurrirán otros más a medida que avancemos. Tenemos que apurarnos a encontrar a Lily antes de que no quede pueblo donde buscar. Aunque primero, veremos a otro de los miembros del equipo de rescate ser perseguido por monstruos y un soldado caerá tratando de rescatarlo.
Después de pasar con sigilo entre los monstruos, llegamos a un sitio seguro y conoceremos a O'Neal, miembro del equipo de rescate. Nos dará información sobre como usar nuestro comunicador para rastrear frecuencias y buscar a Lily. Además, nos marcará algunos puntos de interés en el mapa para encontrar algunas armas que nos ayuden a lidiar con los monstruos con mayor facilidad.

STOPThis sequel in some aspects is better than the first game. Stefano is a creepy antagonist, but I think he can't compare to Ruben xD
The sequel is awesome, bu the feta factor of Ruben is incomparable with anything.
Yeah, He is a character with a disturbed and interesting backstory, the whole thing about his experiments and the relationship with his sister was cool. By the way, I think he still alive in Leslie's body.
That's a known fact. Unfortunately, we'll never have a conclusion to that story.
