The Evil Within 2 | Exit B2: City Hall [No Commentary Gameplay]

Hello there, gamers of the blockchain!


Now, we've got to get to City Hall to activate the Stable Field Emitter. However, on this chapter we unlock something cool that will give us a ton of resources. That is the Shooting Gallery. This game has this added bonus of taking some challenges and earning some brain juice and other goodies.

The Challenges are two. The first one is a shooting gallery of target practice. The targets are enemies from the previous game and some of them move. The gallery gets tougher on each level and the resources given too. The second one is a mix of Candy Crush and shooting. It is quite fun. It's called Chain Reaction. The idea is to chain as many pieces of the same color on screen and them make a big shot to ear lots of points and extra time to keep doing the same.

As you can see, I stayed there shooting for a time until I got all the resources available. This is a really good way to get lots of upgrades for skills and parts for weapons.



Going back to the quest, we need to get to The Marrow in the northern part of Union. On the way, we'll stumble upon a damsel in distress. After saving her from the enemies, some info will be revealed. A lot of the people that got into this experiment thought this was some Research for Sleep. And they were deceived by MOBIUS. The lady doesn't know what happened and it's just collateral damage of all this situation.

Facing some more enemies will make it into The Marrow and see that not even this place is safe from the disaster. At a door with a music puzzle, we'll have to face lots of enemies. Fortunately, there's a good spot above a ladder that gives us the best location to get some headshots with ease.

But that's not the last of the problems. Now, we'll get to the gas leak that was mentioned by O'Neal.



The gas leak part has to be one of the terrifying parts of the game. First, like in the previous entry, we can't use firearms. Second, we are in first-person mode. And that's something really weird and make for movement a little bit more rough for the game. It becomes clear this is just a way of making the movement more challenging as we have to avoid one of those enemies that shriek and spit acid.

The enemies is guarding some switches to activate the door to exit this place. It is quite the stressful puzzle. It isn't hard, but the perspective makes it different.

After exiting the gas leak, we'll be in exit B2 right the place to get to City Hall. Alongside this new path, we'll get some goodies that will be useful on our upcoming facedown with some enemies.



Salida B2: Ayuntamiento

Tenemos que llegar al Ayuntamento para activar el Stable Field Emitter. Sin embargo, este capítulo nos da la oportunidad de superar algunos retos para conseguir muchos más recursos. Estos se presentan en la forma de una galería de tiro.

Hay dos tipos de retos. El primero es tira al blanco. Los blancos son los enemigos del juego anterior. Algunos son estáticos y otros tiene movimiento. A cada nivel, se hace más difícil atinarle a los mismos. El otro reto es una especie de mezcla entre Candy Crush y disparos. Se llama Chain Reaction. El objetivo es acumular piezas del mismo color en la pantalla y luego hacerlas explotar con disparo. Así se acumulan más puntos y se consigue más tiempo.

Como se pueden dar cuenta, estuve un rato aquí hasta sacar todos los recursos disponibles como premios. De aquí se obtiene un montón de juego de cerebro y muchas partes para mejorar las armas.



Regresando a la misión princial, debemos llegar a la terminal de The Marrow en el extremo norte del pueblo. Entre varios enemigos, nos encontraremos con una dama en apuros huyendo de los monstruos. Al salvarla, nos contará que entró a un estudio sobre el sueño y terminó aquí. Otra víctima de los engaños de MOBIUS.

Avanzando más y eliminando más enemigos, llegaremos hasta los cuarteles dentro de The Marrow. Este lugar tampoco se salvó del desastre. Al tratar de completar un rompecabezas musical, nos enfrentaremos a varios enemigos. Por suerte, estar sobre una plataforma nos da el lugar perfecto para eliminarlos sin problemas.

Aunque, este no es el último obstáculo en nuestro camino. Todavía queda la fuga de gas.



Este tiene que ser una de las partes más extrañas y que juega con el factor de miedo. Primero, al igual que el juego anterior, no se pueden usar armas por el gas flamable. Segundo, se juega en primera persona. Eso es algo que altera un poco la percepción y manera de jugar. Se hace para colocar algunos obstáculos que se deben evitar a toda costa. Nos encontraremos uno de esos enemigos que grita y escupe ácido.

Este monstruo está de guardia de unos switches para activar el circuito de la puerta de salida. Esto hace que el puzzle sea un poco tedioso, pero no le quita méritos de dar una vuelta a la forma de jugar.

Después de pasar por todo esto, estaremos justo en la salida B2. Desde aquí podremos llegar al Ayuntamiento. Al llegar a esta parte, encontraremos más recursos que nos serán útiles al enfrentamiento que nos depara el futuro.

Este es un juegazo, me gusta mucho aunque yo no me atrevo a jugarlo jajaja siempre miro a mi hermana jugar, entro en tensión cuando vienen las persecuciones, sobre todo de las variantes raras, como esa mujer que parece una araña.

Ja, ja, ja, ja. Oye, es que ese enemigo del primer juego se las trae. Le diero todo lo necesario para ser material de pesadilla. En este hay otra cosa igual de aterradora.

Bueno, ahí se nota como el creador quiso incluir un elemento más de su obra de Resident Evil 4. Allá también había una galería de tiro para obtener cosas que te ayudaban a avanzar más fácil en la historia.
