Splinterlands - Battle Weekly Challenge - Animated Corpse

Hello fellow Splinterlands lovers, how are you? I hope so!
Here I am again for another weekly battle challenge, sharing with you more information about the card of the week, my strategy, the battle and the results.
So let's get to it.

This week's theme is "ANIMATED CORPSE".

This week's challenge card is a tanker belonging to the death element team.
Animated Corpse has a high 6 life points, 1 speed point, and 2 attack points at its starting level, and costs only 4 mana to participate in battle.
It is, in my opinion, one of the "cheapest" tanks to participate in a battle, having a high amount of life, which makes it very strong to resist several attacks.
Its usefulness is quite varied, but it is very interesting for matches with rules limiting the use of cards up to 4 mana, being undoubtedly one of the strongest tankers for this mana level.
At its initial level Animated Corpse does not have any standard skills, but from level 4 it learns the "void" skill, which reduces the damage suffered by magical attacks.
Animated Corpse is a Starter card, so all players can use it in battle even if they don't have it.

My current battle status is 517 rating and I'm in the "Bronze III" league, so those are the characteristics of the Battle Weekly Challenge, and the choice of battle rules was as follows:

As you can see, the battle had only 14 mana cap, which is very low, on the other hand no element was blocked and there are no rules in the battle, being the same in standard mode.
Besides this, in the last 5 battles my opponent has chosen varied teams, having only repeated the death team in 2 matches, using the water, life and earth team in the others.
That is why there is no way to imagine which team he would use.
And, as such, I set up my team as follows:
Cursed Summerbal: For costing only 1 mana and for suffering the initial attack.
Animated Corpse: For its good capacity as tanker and to participate in the week's challenge.
Undead Badger: For its "sneak" ability and the ability to attack from the third position.
Venari Bonesmith: For completing the team with magical damage and, above all, for his life leech skill that increases his life with each damage done.
So the battle beggins.
Round 1:

The opponent chose the water team and composed it with Spineback Turtle, Albatross, Ice pixie and Medusa.
The battle began as expected, in this case, cursed summerbal suffering the first attack and being defeated early on by Ice pixie.
Soon after it was Undead Badger's turn to attack Medusa, followed by Venari Bonesmith attacking Spineback Turtle.
Medusa and Spineback Turtle attacked Animated Corpse who ended the round by attacking Spineback Turtle.
By the end of the first round I could already tell that the battle would not be good for me.
Round 2:

The second round started with Ice Pixie attacking again, but this time on Animated Corpse, and then Undead Badger attacking Medusa and Venari Bonesmith attacking Spineback Turtle.
Then the Medusa defeated my Animated Corpse, causing Undead Badger to transport himself to first position, and shortly thereafter Spineback Turtle missed his attack on Undead Badger.
Well, even with Spineback Turtle's attack error the battle was already well on its way to a victory for my opponent.
Round 3:

The third round began with Ice Pixie's fatal attack on my Undead Badger, followed by attacks from Jellyfish, Venari, and Spineback Turtle.
Round 4:

The fourth round only served to sacrament my defeat after the Ice Pixie and Medusa attacks.
This is the end of the line for me.

I can say that it wasn't a very happy battle, my card choices didn't give the expected result, but I certainly can't blame Animated Corpse.
The death team, with only their initial cards, faces, to my understanding, a lot of difficulty against the water team, so it is even a bit unbalanced in those battles without cards that can reduce or reflect magic damage.
Oster Rotwell, death summoner, is very strong for battles against water teams, but I don't have this card and I'm not used to playing with the death team.
Anyway Animated Corpse is a good tanker, with great use and that will certainly be part of more of my battles when I use the death team.
Thanks for reading.
I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for reading.
