I've mentioned before that it's my favorite time of year because of its beautiful colors, decorations, and lights that adorn the avenues, shopping centers, and homes. It's also a perfect time for family gatherings and sharing Christmas celebrations in commemoration of Jesus' birth. It's also the most anticipated time for children, who eagerly await their gift from the baby Jesus.
Children often write letters expressing their Christmas wishes. This tradition is very common in my country and is known as the gift from Baby Jesus. The gift is received at midnight on December 24th, and the children happily run to the tree to open their presents. This time, I'm sharing a lovely project inspired by the characters from Splinterlands: a purple bow decorated with pink pearls. The character Lux Vega, wears a bow on her outfit that matches her clothes, also decorated with pink pearls that add elegance. This bow will be a gift for my friend's daughter, who loves purple and pink. One of the gifts she asked Baby Jesus for was a purple and pink bow to match a flannel shirt she has in those colors. She's a very pretty girl and likes to coordinate colors in her outfits. It's a simple project to make, and I invite you to try it! accompany me in the process of creation.
Saludos amigos de @diyhub, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, ya falta poco para que finalice el mes de noviembre e inicié diciembre, donde celebramos la Navidad (nacimiento de Jesús), he mencionado anteriormente que es mi época favorita del año por sus lindos colores, decoraciones y luces que embellecen las avenidas, centros comerciales y las casas, es también una época propicia para la reunión familiar y compartir navideño en conmemoración del nacimiento de Jesús, estambién la época más esperada por los niños pues con ansias anhelan recibir su regalo del niño Jesús.
Los niños acostumbran a hacer sus cartas, donde expresan el regalo que ellos quieren para la Navidad, esta tradición es muy común en mi país y se le conoce como el regalo del niño Jesús, el regalo se recibe a la medianoche del 24 de diciembre y los niños muy felices corren al árbol a abrir sus regalos, en esta ocasión les comparto la elaboración de un lindo proyecto inspirado en los personajes de Splinterlands, se trata de un lazo color morado, decorado con perlas de color rosa, el personaje Lux Vega, lleva un lazo en su atuendo a juego con la ropa, también está decorado con perlas de color rosa que le dan elegancia al atuendo de la chica, este lazo será un obsequio para la hija de mi amiga que le encanta el color morado y rosa, uno de sus regalos que le pidió al niño Jesús es un lazo morado con rosa, para combinarlo con una franela que tiene de este color, es una niña muy guapa y le gusta combinar los colores en su outfit, es un proyecto sencillo de hacer, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

The first step in making the bow is to mark and cut two 20 x 25 cm rectangles from purple fabric. I also cut one rectangle from pelse fabric.

El primer paso para hacer el lazo, es marcar y cortar dos rectángulos de 20 * 25 en tela morada también corté uno en pelón.
Once the rectangles were cut, I placed the fabrics right sides together and at the bottom we placed the fleece; this will give rigidity and firmness to the bow, and with the iron I joined it to the fabrics.
Cortados los rectángulos, enfrenté por el derecho las telas y en la parte de abajo colocamos el pelón este servirá para dar rigidez y firmeza al lazo, con la plancha lo uní a las telas.
Then I sewed all around the edge, removed the excess fabric and made an opening in the center, very carefully I turned the piece over, and ironed it again.
Luego cosí por todo el contorno, retiré el exceso de tela e hice una abertura en el centro, con mucho cuidado volteé la pieza, planché nuevamente.
Next, I sewed a strip approximately 3 cm wide, which will be placed in the center of the bow, gathered the bow with the help of a pin and hand-stitched it.
Seguidamente cosí una tira de aproximadamente 3 cm de ancho, que será para colocar en el centro del lazo, arruché el lazo con ayuda de un alfiler y pasé costura a mano.
The next step is to glue the pearls onto the bow. I placed three pearls in the center and one at each end of the bow, for a total of six pearls. I used a lighter pink color at the ends and a darker shade in the center.
The last step is to attach the bow to a clip. This can be done in two ways: with silicone or by hand sewing. I prefer hand sewing because I can sew several stitches to secure it. I sewed at both ends through the holes in the clip, and I also sewed down the center, passing the thread through several times. With these simple steps, a beautiful bow for my friend's daughter, inspired by Lux Vega, is finished.
El siguiente paso es pegar las perlas en el moño, coloqué tres perlas en el centro y una en cada extremo del lazo, en total pegué el seis perlas al lazo, un color rosa más claro en los extremos y el tono más oscuro en el centro.
El último paso es unir el moño a una pinza, se puede hacer de dos formas con silicón o con costura a mano, a mí me gusta más con costura a mano porque puedo pasar varias puntadas y asegurar la costura, cosí en los extremos por ambos extremos en los orificios que tiene la pinza, también cosí en el centro pasando el hilo varias veces, con esto sencillos pasos está terminado un hermoso lazo para la hija de mi amiga inspirado en Lux Vega.
