Beautiful kitchen ornament inspired by Furious Chicken (Eng - Esp)
Greetings creative friends I wish you a happy day in family togetherness, today I share the elaboration of an ornament for the kitchen inspired by Furious Chicken, a character that integrates the Splinterlands card, these animals are widely used to decorate the kitchen, there are even ceramic vases in the shape of chicken, kitchen towels, pot holders and others. The elaboration process is simple and requires few materials.
Saludos amigos creativos les deseo un feliz día en unión familiar, hoy comparto la elaboración de un adorno para la cocina inspirado en Furious Chicken, un personaje que integra las carta de Splinterlands, estopos animales son muy usados para decorar la cocina, incluso hay jarrones de cerámica con forma de pollo, paños de cocina, agarra ollas y otros. El proceso de elaboración es sencillo y requiere pocos materiales.
The materials used were:
Monkey fabric (white)
Fleece blanket (red and yellow)
Scissors
Sponge
Pins
Googly eyes
Wadding
Sewing machine.
Los materiales usados fueron:
Tela de mono (blanca)
Manta polar (roja y amarilla)
Tijera

Alfileres
Ojos saltones
Guata

The first step was to mark the parts of the chicken in the corresponding fabrics; body, wing, crests and beak, for this I used soap, I faced the fabrics on the right side and fastened with pins to prevent it from moving; on the bottom I placed the wadding and sewed the pieces with putada straight turn taking as reference the line of marking, I also left a small opening to turn.
El primer paso fue marcar las partes del pollo en las telas correspondientes; cuerpo, ala, crestas y pico, para ello usé jaboncillo, enfrenté las telas por el derecho y sujeté con alfileres para evitar que se mueva; en la parte de abajo coloqué la guata y cosí las piezas con putada recta voltear tomando como referencia la línea de marcado, también dejé una pequeña abertura para voltear.
Once the pieces were sewn, I cut off the excess fabric and made picks in the curved parts for a better finish and shape of the feathers.
Cosidas las piezas corté el exceso de tela, e hice piquetes en las partes curvas para un mejor acabado y forma de las plumas.
Then I fixed with pins, sewed the upper ridge, with zigzag stitch I made several lines that simulate the feathers of the chicken, on the wings, neck and tail.
Luego fijé con alfileres, cosí la cresta superior, con puntada de zigzag hice varias líneas que simulan las plumas del pollo, en las alas, cuello y cola.
With zigzag stitch I glued the wing, here I had a little difficulty because of the thickness of the fabrics and the needle broke precisely when I was starting to glue the wing, thank God I had spare needles, I changed it and I could continue.
Con puntada de de zigzag pegué el ala, aquí tuve un poco de dificultad por lo grueso de las telas y la aguja se rompió precisamente cuando estaba empezando a pegar el ala, gracias a Dios tenía agujas de reserva, la cambié y pude continuar.
To finish I glued the beak and the chin, with hand stitching using hidden stitch, the eye I glued with hot silicone stitch and this is the end of a nice ornament for the kitchen.
Para finalizar pegué el pico y la barbilla, con costura a mano usando puntada escondida, el ojo lo pequé con punto de silicón caliente y así está terminado un lindo adorno para la cocina.
In addition to decorating the kitchen, the chicken can be useful as a pot holder, but the white color tends to get dirty and stain a lot; in short, I think it would be better to hang it on the wall to beautify this space of the house very frequented and used by the members of the family.
Además de adornar la cocina el pollo puede ser útil como agarra ollas, solo que el color blanco tiende a ensuciarse y mancharse mucho; en definitiva creo que mejor quedará colgado en la pared para embellecer este espacio de la casa muy frecuentado y usado por los miembros de la familia.

I think it would serve very well as a top for carrying hot stuff albeit the white color is not helpful, haha. Nice piece of decoration.
