Crypto Christmas Gift List

Christmas is upon us and with it comes to all sorts of pressure from companies looking to make a quick buck from the euphoria. Some of your friends and family are caught up in the euphoria, making it even more difficult for you to act normal.

If you've managed to isolate yourself from the entire planet, good for you because you won't be sucked into the craziness. For the rest of us who can't afford that luxury, but want normalcy in our lives, Christmas takes that away.

Instead of whining about it, I embrace Christmas and some of the virtues it represents. I love the food, I love the music and I love the gifts.

Honestly, if you ignore all the schemes from companies, you'll find that Christmas is actually a lovely thing. Regardless of your faith, Christmas is accompanied by an underlying atmospheric positivity that reverberates through the senses of most people in society.

It is a time when buying gifts is actually nice and you put a smile on people's faces. Regardless of what the adverts tell you, nothing is actually too small and a warm smile from your loved ones is never far away.

Crypto Christmas

One thing that's not happening this Christmas is a bull market. The market is in a dire situation and things look like getting worse but that's not a reason to be gloom.

For crypto bris attending any family function, the inevitable questions about your source of income and the market are sure to surface. I'm not going to lie to you, some of them will be very offensive, piercing through your thick skin in the game you've built and sometimes, even make you question your sanity.

In tough times like these, it is important to be resilient, build a safety net and look towards the future. For those on Hive that are invested in real projects with actual value, the market still hurts but you know that the sun will shine on your bags again.

The knowledge that your bags are in a good place makes it easier to be optimistic about the future and this is something you should share with your loved ones. Word of mouth is nice but what about a gift that keeps on giving?

Now we all know that the crypto market is in a bad way but when you think about it, this is the best time to invest, if you want to. If you look around Hive ecosystem, there are a number of assets that could be beneficial, even in the midst of this bear market.

What I'm trying to say is that the $500 you'd use to buy a Playstation 5 as a gift could actually bring more value if you invested in a number of Hive assets. Here's a non-exhaustive list of assets you could buy for your loved ones this Christmas;

  • Buy SPS and stake it
  • Buy Leo and stake it
  • Buy GLX and stake it
  • Buy Hive and stake it
  • Buy HBD and put into savings
  • Buy SPlinterlands assets and teach your loved ones how to play the game
  • Invest in any of the liquidity pools affiliated with SPlinterlands

The one thing that all these aforementioned list of gifts have in common is that they are gifts that keep on giving. The best part is that right now, they're all very cheap, so with a few dollars, you could be setting your loved ones up for a major payday sometime in the future, while they also earn dividends from staking.
