Splinterlands - Reaching 150k SPS staked and keep on building

I have succeeded to reach a milestone that was standing in a corner of my mind - 150,000 Splintershards (SPS) staked in the "still" amazing Splinterlands game. It wasn't easy, it didn't happen overnight, but I got there. Now it remains for me to set another goal and while 200,000 SPS staked sounds magnificent, I am realist that getting there it will take me quite a bit. Thus, I plan to set a goal more reachable and that is to get to 160k SPS staked. I feel that settings goals with 10k SPS increments it should be realistic as long as I am consistent playing the game. Lately, for about one month, I was quite absent in the crypto space in general and the Hive blockchain in special, but I hope to reinstate my routine and keep hustling in my crypto endeavors. Let's see if I can make it...

While I consider that getting to 150k SPS is a big thing, staking SPS is not just about that, but it brings additional benefits. It is about my strategy to grow slowly, but steady and increase my revenues in the game. This keeps me motivated alongside with having fun out of it and a perfect symbiosis pushed me forward. Just by staking, I earn more SPS every second, minute, hour and day. It might not be much at once, but it adds up over time. With 10.34% APR, the staked SPS keeps on building up.

The game keeps changing and growing. I feel like having SPS staked now might capture even more value later on. The market price for SPS is standing now at $0.0115 and it already shows appreciation later on. I believe a big moment will be on the next release of Edition cards when a serious marketing campaign should push the price seriously.

A powerful voice in the Treasury proposals

I like having a powerful voice in the Treasure proposals and make sure to support initiatives that represent my interests. It is like voting as a stakeholder and gives me a good feeling that I can shape how the treasury funds are used.

Current and future additional perks

I have a feeling that holding staked SPS will matter more as the game keeps evolving. I’d rather be ready. A current example on that are the Promo cards which can be purchased with Vouchers. From there I can put them at work or even sell them for some profits. For example I could buy a Rewards cards with 100 Vouchers and put it on the market. In one day I got an offer for it and accepted, which brought me a nice $1.75. I will probably use this earnings to buy a Wild Pass as my decks are not strong enough to play in the Modern format. Everything adds up.

So yeah, I've decided that my next stop will be 160k SPS staked. It’s a smaller goal, but it feels realistic and doable if I keep playing and stay active. The big dream of 200k is still there in the back of my mind (and at some point it was even of 1 Million SPS staked), but for now, I’ll take it step by step. If I stay consistent, I believe I’ll get there eventually. And on top of that I see Splinterlands growing and building, thus some good times might await us in the future.
