Hello, gamers! 🎉 #Splinterlands has just introduced Survival Mode, and I had to try it! 🏊‍♂️ No risk, no reward, right? 😏 This new mode is a true test of endurance, where every battle could be your last. One life, increasing difficulty, and a competitive leaderboard. There are no second chances—only strategy and #SplinterlandsSurvival.

At first, I thought, "This will be easy!"—after all, I have been playing Splinterlands for a long time. But I quickly realized that Survival Mode is much harder than I expected. 😅 One bad match, and my best cards were gone for good. The worst part? Losing a card in Survival Mode means you cannot use it in Modern or Wild until the reset. 💀

Apart from the challenge, I think this mode will change the game’s economy. Survival Mode will likely become another way to reduce card supply, which could have two major effects:
1️⃣ Card values may change, especially for essential monsters.
2️⃣ Wild cards might become more useful, as some hidden gems could be very strong in this mode.

For this reason, I have started to track some Wild cards that could become Survival Mode MVPs—because honestly, I need every advantage I can get. 😆

Survival Mode is a great challenge, but there is one big risk that could ruin your ranked experience if you are not careful: Losing cards in Survival Mode affects ALL game modes! 😱 If you lose an important card in Survival, you will not be able to use it in Modern, Wild, or even Brawls until the reset.

Imagine losing your best tank in Survival Mode and then realizing you can’t use it in ranked. That is the worst feeling! 🤦‍♂️

✅ Save Your Entire Modern Deck
I will provide a quick tutorial on how to save all your Modern cards before playing Survival Mode. This way, you can avoid losing essential cards and still compete in ranked battles without restrictions.

✅ Select all your Modern Cards via Card Sets
Select Create Custom DEC and set max level cards on autofill settings

✅ Provide a name for the set

✅ Edit set
You just need to set 2 options: All Modern cards and Soulbound. That's it!

✅ Saving them from the Slaughter
Now you've got to select the Deck you've created and save your modern cards from the Survival slaughter.

Survival Mode is very challenging, and I have learned this the hard way. I started without saving my Modern deck and somehow ended up in Bronze III. At first, I didn’t think much about it—until I read some posts and found out that my depleted cards went on cooldown for all game modes. 😱 That was a big mistake.

Now, I am making a long-term plan to prepare for Survival Mode, especially for when Chaos Legion rotates out. The key to success? Finding strong Wild cards that will keep my deck competitive.

I have started looking for powerful Untamed cards that provide great utility and can help me go further in Survival Mode. Here are some of my best picks:

✅ Death Elemental – $12.41
A small but powerful card for low-mana battles. Its Magic debuff weakens enemy spellcasters, and its Sniping magic attack can surprise opponents. This card has already helped me win close matches.

✅ Scale Doctor – $18.99
One of the best support cards in the game. With Repair and Rust, it controls armor, while Triage keeps your backline healthy. This card helps the entire team survive longer, making it very strong in Survival Mode.

✅ Naga Brute – $12.11
With Weapons Training, this card is a serious threat. Many players do not expect its power, so it can be a big surprise in battles.

✅ Final Frost Lion – $7.58 max level
At just 2 mana, this is one of the best low-cost tanks available. It is a great option for low-mana battles and offers a lot of value for its price.

I am now building my Wild collection with these cards because they will help me perform better in Survival Mode and make my deck more flexible.
