Today I want to share something special… because sometimes, #Splinterlands is not only a card game — it’s a place where you meet people with big ideas that go beyond the screen in their #play2earn road. 🌍✨

A few days ago, between battles and strategies, I had my first real conversation with someone I had seen mentioned many times in the community: SilentRiot. At first, I thought he was just an active player, someone who works hard… but I found out he is much more than that. 🤯

He doesn’t just talk about cards, mana caps, or the meta — he talks about revolutions, positive energy, and building something that lasts! 🚀 I realised that, even though we live in different places (he is from sunny California and I am from beautiful Barcelona🌞), we share the same values: faith in people, the belief that patience brings rewards, and trust that this ecosystem can become something big if we care for it. 💪✨

💬 A Conversation That Inspired Me — Talking with SilentRiot

Our chat started like any other:

Hey friend! Next steps for the tournament? How are you doing?

But very soon, I realised this was going to be something different. SilentRiot — or Raistlin, as he introduced himself — shared much more than plans for a tournament. He shared his story, his values, and his passion.

He told me he is not only a gamer, but also a Reiki practitioner and energy healer. He believes in lifting others up and spreading positivity. ✨ But he also spoke about something that really made me think: how the mentality of the community can hurt the value of our assets.

He explained that many people in crypto — and in Splinterlands — lose patience. They sell their tokens too early, they focus on quick profit, and then complain when prices drop. But this cycle happens because people don’t trust the project long-term. Instead of building and supporting, they drain value from the system.

If people had more faith and invested little by little, without fear, our charts would look healthier, and more players would come, he said.

I agreed with him completely. I told him my story too. I come from Barcelona, raised by my grandmother, who taught me strong values — patience, hard work, and commitment. Just like in life, in this game, patience brings rewards. 💪

We talked about how we both joined Splinterlands in 2021. Like many others, we bought assets at high prices (I even bought two licences for $1,000 each! 😅). But instead of feeling bad, we both stay focused on the future. This game and this community are special. They just need more believers.

And I couldn’t agree more! 😍 We started to imagine together:

• A tournament where everyone plays with ghost cards, so only skill and knowledge matter.
• No pressure for money — the first-place prize would be a unique Hive badge, like a medal of honor for those who truly love the game and the community. 🏅
• A small participation reward to show appreciation, maybe a little DEC or a Rebellion pack for the champion, but keeping the focus on fun and unity, not profit.

We both agreed that this could be the first step towards something bigger — inspiring other guilds to do the same and making the community stronger. 💪🔥

This will be a test," I told him, "but I believe it can grow into something amazing.

He smiled (well… I imagined him smiling across the chat! 😁) and said:

Let’s do it with quality. No rush. We will prepare everything — graphics, badges, and the right message. It will be an Alliance Tournament, and it will show what we stand for.
