๐งจ Gnome Domination Incoming?! ๐ฅ My Experience with Bloodlines in Conclave Arcana โ๏ธ
Hello summoners! ๐ฎ A new meta is coming, and guess what? Iโve already been testing it! ๐ Thanks to being part of the Mav server, Iโve tried some of the new Conclave Arcana features, and let me tell you โ Gnomes might become the kings of low mana battles! ๐ง๐ฅI will explain you why in my post and bring some battles that anticipate that the new meta (without Chaos Legion staples), will be thrilling, fascinating. A whole change in #Splinterlands #play2earn arena.
๐ก 1. Gnomes Are Back โ 15 Units in Modern!
There are 15 different Gnome units that will be legal in Modern format after Conclave Arcana is released. That gives us many options to build smart and flexible teams.
I was like... So many choices! ๐ฒ
With such an ammount of units there are tons of uncovered combos and I would like to share some of them with you!
โ๏ธ 2. Razi Clanktrap and Painforge: A Dangerous Combo ๐ฃ
Razi Clanktrap is an Archon that gives the Painforge ability to all Gnomes. This means that when they get damaged by effects like poison or electrified , they actually become stronger! ๐ฅ

But be careful โ if you try to take too much damage to boost them, you might lose the game. A fun idea is using Water Diviner to shock your own team and make all the Gnomes stronger at once. Itโs risky, but it can win matches if played well. โก๐ In this scenario there's a card that I can't w8 to play and it's water diviner, for just 2 Mana 3 Magic with opportunity and Electrified triggering Painforge in gnomes!
๐ง 3. Training Power: Gnome Strategy ๐ช
There are 5 Gnome units with the Trainable ability. One of them, Lucky Longshot, can train both Ranged and Magic attacks! ๐ฏ๐ฎ
This strategy works really well in low mana fights because itโs cheap but strong, specially considering that all of them bring enormous utility to the army, specially Nimbledook Explorer (and guess what, we have been receiving this unit for just playing #Splinterlands the best #play2earn ever!)
And guess what, thanks to bloodline ability, Razi (a Death Summoner), can summon a life unit into the battlefield. She will give hime painforge and close ranged. If battle trained by lucky longshot he will have 1 magic and 2 ranged. For just seven mana you'll have a front tank with 3 attacks (Nimble has got Armored Strike also + auto heal). In just one paragraph we've got summarized how things will change in the Modern arena from May 13th.
๐งจ 4. Gnome Units You Should Watch
There are some other great gnome units you should put an eye on them:
- ๐ช Filthy Scavenger โ Deals 4 damage, has Ambush and Bloodline Tribute. This card is essential in Gnome decks. There are very few situations where I can play this card and I don't bring it to the arena. Just love him!
- ๐ ๏ธ Deep Delver โ With Rust and Corrupted Healing, it destroys armor (Kelya and Lux will no longer live in modern) and makes the whole army stay alive longer thanks to corrupted healing. Finally brings Deflecion Shroud for those annoying Tofu's in the battleground (previously CA just Fizbo had this ability). Can't w8 to test him!
- ๐ฏ Palifala โ Every card with Mimic can turn the battle into your favour. Olivia is one of the best card in the meta and let's see how Palifala fits on it!
And last but not least, take into the account 3 shapeshifts that can benefit from the whole gnome strategy of boosting power via Painforge!
๐ฎ Final Thoughts: Gnomes Are Ready to Shine!
I would like to provide an enormous shoutout to @royaleagle, who has kindly offered me to test some Gnome dynamics in the test server. Just love this community and how helpful it is. I bring you a battle where Water Diviner triggered succesfuly some painforge! Interesting wombo combo! And here's the whole battle
Iโm very excited to try this new Gnome army. With their new abilities and bloodline synergy, I believe they will bring fast and fun battles to Splinterlands. ๐คฏ
What do you think, Splinterlands warriors?
Will Gnomes dominate low mana games, or will their greed backfire? ๐

I still dont know about this Archon system.
i am not on Mavs so i still blind with those
Thanks for replying my friend. I will kindly answer.
Archons replace the current concept summoner as we players are the summoners. Archons are the representation of our will in the arena. This change has been brought to provide coherence to the whole game.
Related with Archons we find Bloodlines. Now Archon's got couple of abilities:
Ones that affect the whole army
Ones that affect his bloodline.
Also they can bring to the arena creatures that share the same bloodline with them.
This is a massive game change that will change tons of dynamics.
Hope this clarifies!
#Vonak
so if we pick gnome then we cannot use any fiend bloodlines?
Current Archon Gnome (Razi), as being a Death Archon, can summon all Death units - Neutral units AND Gnomes from other factions (Fire, Water, Nature, Life).
As long as the unit is Death or Neutral, she can summon it to the battlefield. The unit won't be affected by Bloodline Dominion (The ability that gives all gnomes Painforge).
DANG!!!!
This is more likely Heartstone old version
I already forgot how to play Hearthstone.
I think i need to learn more about this changes
I can guarantee that nobody is prepared for modern as nobody has enough $SPS #Vonak
???
Enough SPS?
what does that mean??
Thanks for sharing! - @azircon
