Wagonize your life!
Prologue
Almost there! The conflicts start, and we want to be as prepared as possible. In my last post, I calculated the cost to produce wagon kits, and did a few observations on how to organize wagons the best way to optimize your outcome.
Azircon did a nice basic post about what I'm going to go in detail into, check it out here.
The Google Sheet I built is available for download here.
So, questions to answer today:
How do you equip your wagons? And how much would that cost you if you bought the cards today?
Efficient destruction
So, the first conflict has to be all hands on deck, anyway - it doesn't matter if your wagons are occupied or not, if you get a card, one is destroyed for each card. If you get more cards than wagons, they're all destroyed, and you do get the extra cards, too, so the absolute most efficient way to run your wagons is with obviously 5 Legendary Black Foils. Easy. 😜
But what are the other options?
Collection Power in Conclave Arcana
I quickly built a little sheet in order to calculate wagons. You can find it here, in the tab "Wagons". I'll describe some examples here, using only max copies (there is a calculator for single CC as well).
Collection | Power | Regular Gold | Black |
---|---|---|---|
Common | 2100 | 4988 | 24938 |
Rare | 2415 | 11550 | 57750 |
Epic | 4830 | 26250 | 131250 |
Legendary | 5775 | 52500 | 262500 |
As we have 5 slots on each wagon, and we want to get as close to >111,112 as possible, there are a few choices.
1 Wagon
Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Guaranteed Cards |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 GF Common | 1 GF Rare | 2 GF Epic | 1 GF Legendary | 1.09 GC |
5 BF Common | 1.12 GC | |||
5 GF Epic | 1.18 GC | |||
2 BF Common | 3 BF Rare | 2.01 GC | ||
5 GF Legendary | 2.36 GC | |||
3 GF Epic + 2 BF Epic | 3.07 GC | |||
5 BF Legendary | 11.81 GC |
It's impossible to get 1 guaranteed card with only Regular foils on 1 wagon.
2 Wagons
Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Guaranteed Cards |
---|---|---|---|---|
10 GF Rare | 1.03 GC | |||
8 RF Epics + 1 GF Epic | 1 GF Legendary | 1.05 GC | ||
2 GF Common | 3 GF Rare | 3 GF Epic | 2 GF Legendary | 2.05 GC |
3 BF Common | 3 GF Rare | 1 GF Epic | 2 GF Legendary | 2.16 GC |
10 BF Common | 2.24 GC | |||
4 BF Common | 4 BF Rare | 3 BF Epics | 6.00 GC |
Still impossible to get 1 guaranteed card with only Regular Foils on 2 Wagons.
1 Guaranteed Card
To get 1 guaranteed card with only Regular Foils you need:
Rarity | Amount of maxed cards | Amount of Wagons |
---|---|---|
Common | 53 | 11 |
Rare | 47 | 10 |
Epic | 24 | 5 |
Legendary | 20 | 4 |
I hope this part was somewhat helpful. But, I wouldn't be me if I didn't calculate with the good old money as well.
Making the most GC for your $$$
For this, I checked out current prices at the monstercard.store and checked out the current prices for each foil and rarity.
Price per CC:
Rarity | RF | Gold | Black |
---|---|---|---|
Common | $0,05 | $0,80 | $124,00 |
Rare | $0,22 | $3,24 | $284,00 |
Epic | $0,75 | $11,37 | $649,00 |
Legendary | $5,30 | $62,22 | $2.400,00 |
Easy to calculate the CP per $ from there. This does not include the bonus for a maxed copy (besides BF, which is always maxed):
CP per $ | Regular | Gold | Black |
---|---|---|---|
Common | 104,2 | 156,3 | 201,1 |
Rare | 90,9 | 154,3 | 203,3 |
Epic | 133,3 | 219,9 | 202,2 |
Legendary | 94,3 | 200,9 | 109,4 |
Or, more beautifully:
Meaning, if you need to buy cards for your wagons - go for Epic Gold Foils, there you get the biggest amount of Points for your USD.
Interesting to see how all BF except for legendary are at more or less the same CP/$ level. And that Legendary GF are actually a good deal, considering this metric.
Costs per Wagon
Now, we can just use the same calculator and the CP/$ to see how much we would have to pay to fill our wagons with the examples. I'm just going to do the 1-wagon-solutions here, this is already taking too long.
Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Guaranteed Cards | Cost |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 GF Common | 1 GF Rare | 2 GF Epic | 1 GF Legendary | 1.09 GC | $577.96 |
5 BF Common | 1.12 GC | $620.00 | |||
5 GF Epic | 1.18 GC. | $568.50 | |||
2 BF Common | 3 BF Rare | 2.01 GC | $1,100 | ||
5 GF Legendary | 2.36 GC | $1244 | |||
3 GF Epic + 2 BF Epic | 3.07 GC | $1,639 | |||
5 BF Legendary | 11.81 GC | $12,000 |
To get 1 GC with regular foil
Rarity | Amount of maxed cards | Amount of Wagons | Cost |
---|---|---|---|
Common | 53 | 11 | $1017.60 |
Rare | 47 | 10 | $1189.10 |
Epic | 24 | 5 | $828 |
Legendary | 20 | 4 | $1166 |
Conclusion
Don't just by because you need CP. Always think about what the card can do for you in the game. This is no financial advice or stuff like that, use your brain! And the calculator to support the brain... There are so many options!
To get 1 maxed card of each airdrop (11 GC), you need to invest at least $5,343 in cards and $50 for wagons each round (47 Epic GF on 10 wagons) - if prices stay where they at, more or less.
I think I can get my wagons to get me 3 guaranteed cards each drop. Need 60,000 CP more, but now I know which cards to buy for that...

Nice to see we came up with the same answer! Bought my 5 cc of gfe cards to take me to 1 guarantee as they were the best option for me too
Dang, I must have missed your post. Will get to that asap! Do you mean 5 CC or 5 maxed copies of GF-E?
Just needed the 5 CC luckily, don’t think I could stretch to the 5 max 💵💵💵
Yeah that would be a 10x and quite the investment :-D Thanks for clarifying, I was confused as I used 5 GC-E as an example for 1 GC :-)
