HIVEing around the block, trying to find more DEC for Conclave Arcana
I'm excited. This is the first time I'm wealthy enough to participate in a Pre-Sale. That's great as feeling my personal financial growth (I don't need to hang on to any penny anymore, but can spend more and more on things that I enjoy), as well as feeling a little less under pressure and being able to go around my bakery a little more relaxed.
We're 13 days away from the end of Pre-Sale, and I want some Gold packages - just because of the black foils. They're 12k DEC / $12 each. But I don't want to throw in anymore FIAT, but use my HIVE that I earned here, as well as SPS (although I'll try to avoid that). I'm currently buying between 1000-2000 DEC daily, but I will have to up that a lot, so I started getting to work on my blog. In the last week, I posted every day - but at different times, and the end of the day on HIVE is apparently afternoon for me. I posted once a day IN MY DAY, but not HIVE days, so it marks one day as 2 posts.
I also try to comment more, engage more, keep my posts between 500-800 words (which is very hard for me!), and be a good bee, following the advice that I had gotten from some of the more experienced folks, most importantly Azircon who I can't thank enough.
I used to only follow a Splinterlands-Curation trail, but the more time I spend here, the more I do the curation myself. You can see a clear uptrend in daily curation rewards, which is not translatable to DEC I think, as it's paid in HP. But that's fine, I like that my account is growing. Talking about...
Isn't this a nice chart? Generally, I placed a rule on myself to always do 50/50 in rewards, but use 25% of the HBD to power up. That has led to this beautiful growth. But right now, I'm thinking about putting all the HBD into DEC and buy packs - kind of a martial law situation.
My goal is to reach the 5000 HP in 2025. It will be hard, but we'll see - if I can keep up the pace that I'm working on at the moment, it might even work out before. The rewards for my regular posting could be way more than I thought. If AZ is right and my account will grow faster if I engage more regularly, then this is just the beginning:
This is after one week of daily posting, reading and commenting. Besides the food for my brain, the reward part is not that bad. $4,50 per post is a lot, considering that I usually spend an hour on each post (writing, thinking mostly more), and that the minimum wage here in Ecuador is $3.80 (considering extra wages and insurance, without that, it's $2.93). It's like that moment where you realize that you can actually make money by thinking and writing and engaging with people. Total mind blow.
Going through the dashboard, I saw this feature as well, and realized that my personal curation is one spot 1 and 2 on my outgoing votes, with Azircon and Tarazkp, both of who I read a lot. Some of my other favorites are there, too, like bravetofu, flummi, galenk, thejedo and bozz.
Besides AZ and Taraz, I don't recognize most of my incoming votes - I've probably never engaged with them, and it could be because they're voting trails or automated likes. Both is fine, I take the extra Hive, but I will go through that list and check them, anyway - maybe there are interests aligned. I find new content creators almost daily now, as I'm engaging more and more, so it's not even that unlikely.
Pre-Sale-Goal
Okay, here it comes - I want another copy of Gramel. That means, 400.000 DEC, or 400 HBD, 33.33 Gold Packs. I already have half of that together. I might have to throw in some FIAT, but that would be okay. I don't have to worry about that too much right now. Feels so good.
Thanks for sharing! - @cieliss

Thank you for curating!
expand your network. I won't be here forever, and more importantly, my time and voting power is limited, and I will move on to new people. Then it will be your job to help new people, and that is how you pay it forward.
That's my intention! And what I'm working on. I'm still thankful for all the advice you gave me, and I hope that soon there will be that day that you move on as that will mean that I made it :-)
