Season 166: Frontier Frontier Frontier 🤣
Season Summary
Frontier Frontier Frontier
Well, that pretty much sums up my last season.
My plan was to grind Modern a lot more, but honestly Frontier ended up being the main focus.
Still having a blast playing with the Frontier set and luckily my collection isn’t finished yet.
As you might have seen, I sold my Gold Foil Giam Root and picked up a Mystic Scaleweaver instead.
What a card! Definitely one of the best in the Frontier set. It’s helped me secure a lot of wins.
But don’t get me wrong, it’s not an auto-win button.
Frontier is actually pretty well balanced, and spamming Scaleweaver won’t carry you every time.
My main account wrapped up around Gold II / Gold I, while my alt accounts finished in Silver I.
Progress is progress. With the new season ahead, all accounts should be collecting packs.
I’m still opening mine. I know it’s probably smarter to sell and target specific cards, but where’s the fun in that? I just love the pack-opening thrill too much 🤣.
On the land side, I just wrapped up phase 2 of my 3-phase plan. I’ll write a separate post about that. My findings, next steps, and why I think I might need to readjust the plan a little.
My Rebellion soulbound collection is also almost maxed, sitting at 96% now, with only 3 cards left.
With a bit of luck, I’ll max two of them next season, and the last one should follow within a season or two.
That should line up perfectly with the release of the next rewards set.
Too bad I haven’t been able to stash much glint for a head start, but we’ll see how it plays out.

One question I keep circling back to: what are you all doing with your extra soulbound cards once they’re locked?
- Do you burn them?
- Use them in Survival
- Unlock and sell?
I still haven’t decided. Burning Gold Foil legendaries always feels painful. I’m still holding out hope that Splinterlands introduces some kind of trading option for them. Would love to swap into cards I actually need, even if they stay locked. That would technically break the whole “soulbound” concept, so probably not happening anytime soon, but hey, a player can dream.
After all, it’s supposed to be a Trading Card Game (TCG).
That’s it for the intro. Now let’s jump into the raw stats of this week.
