Land Tool Update — Card Shares, Resources & Bloodlines

Welcome back everyone, we have another release for you today on the land tool!
This week brings three new features and updates:

  • Land card share calculation (released earlier this week)
  • Land card resource overview
  • Land card bloodline simulation update (abilities don’t stack)

If you don’t want to read the rest, here’s the link where you can dive directly into the new features:

Let’s go through them one by one 👇

Land Card Share Calculation

This one was technically already released earlier this week and mentioned in the land chat, but let’s give it a bit more context.

As most of you land owners probably already saw, Splinterlands posted an update about how Land Cards will be distributed.
During the first three days, you can purchase your fair share of the pool — and after that, whatever is left will go onto the open market.
You can read the full post here:
👉 Official Land Card Update

So, I added some key figures to my tool to help everyone understand their eligible share.
It’s all based on base PP, and one important thing to remember:

You can’t just assign all your cards to land without staking the required DEC.

If you don’t have the full amount of DEC staked, your efficiency will be lower.
And since card share is calculated based base PP and on efficiency, your eligibility will also decrease accordingly.

Here’s an example of a player running below 100% efficiency:

You can see the total amount of cards they are eligible for.
This data comes from nightly updates, and I’m not aware of when exactly Splinterlands will take the snapshot, so treat it as guidance only.

I also added a leaderboard so you can check who has the highest share and, of course, find yourself on the list 👀 direct link

Land Card Resource

This feature was inspired by @keeegs, who made a really nice spreadsheet to calculate how much of each resource is needed to craft your eligible cards.
He wanted to bring that idea into the site, but during the week i did not had time. Now its weekend and have some time to spare so here it is!

Keeegs post: How many land cards can I get in allocation and how many resources do I need?
Now you can see how close you are to having the resources required to craft your eligible cards.

Hover over the values to get a detailed breakdown of how the calculations are made.

This was built quite fast, so expect some “dirty code” to be removed up after the crafting period.
But if you spot anything weird / missing or incorrect, please let me know, especially if your numbers differ from @keeegs spreadsheet.

Bloodline Simulation Update — Abilities Don’t Stack

This one needed an update since my initial assumption turned out to be off.
Originally, I thought that every bloodline card on a plot would get boosted, but the team clarified that only the best effect per ability applies but for the complete plot.

Big thanks to @davemccoy and the Splinterlands team for the great examples they provided, it made things much clearer!

Here’s a quick rundown of how it works now:
Be aware many image incomming 😁

Example 1

You have a card with Rationing -10% and another with Rationing -25%.
👉 Only the most beneficial (-25%) applies.

Starting situation no reduction

Default 1 rationing of 10%

2 rationing 10% and 25% so 25% is used

Example 2

You have Bountiful Grain +3% and Bountiful Grain +15%.
👉 You get +15% Grain Production total.

Similar for production

Example 3

You have Toil and Kin (Elf) +10% with 2 other elves on the plot.
👉 You only get +10% once, not per elf.

No boost when only the land card is a Elf

Second Elf card is added not all cards are boosted with 10%

Example 4

You have Toil and Kin (Elf) +10%, Bountiful Grain +10%, and an elf on the plot.
👉 You get +20% total for grain production (since these are different abilities).

Different abilities stack - now 20% production bonus

Example 5

You have Toil and Kin (Elf) +10%, Toil and Kin (Mundane Beast) +5%, an elf, and a beast on the plot.
👉 You get +15% total, because they’re different bloodlines.

Different bloodline boost stack

Same Bloodline the highest will count

Just a query on the total row for grain, looks like I have enough for commons and epics but the total shows only 88% is that because I can do one or the other and need more to get both?

Yeah... i spend my first coffee of the day browsing land for sale and sorting out my small but growing plot collection. over 80 now... worried about what the changes with 2.0 will bring. however... yeepers i can not wait. Do any of your tools show the price of grain (and the others) over time. like show the markt prices of it? wanting to keep an eye on where there prices are going for "sale" and hoard days. :-)

Yes there is a lot of information on that 🤣

https://land.spl-stats.com/resource

Value of the resource in DEC:

image.png

And even more interesting is the grain factor chart... because every producing resource had relation on grain, so easy to say, this is to simple like this but is more a rule of thumb:
everything blow grain factor (gray line) is hoard everything about grain can be sold... if the market is perfect it would all end up on the 1x of grain (so on the gray line)

Yeah i need to get into this in more detail. I was just saying in discord, that all i ahve been doing is stockpiling... as i was not limited by needing to buy grain or anything... or rather grain was cheeper... now as we all know it is drying up... REALLY wishing o bought a bit more early on that is for sure. Im just trying to figure out what the best resourse to "sell" for dec so i can reinvest it in producing more :-) basically spending money to make more money :-) lol
