Introduction

This is my fourth post about the 6 years anniversary of splinterlands.

In this fourth post i will dive deeper in the vision of splinterlands, my vision...

This can be divided in:

  • The Game
  • The Land Game (game in a game)

The Game

What do i expect from the the game expect from the developers. The least is new editions, this is pretty much what is delivered every x months. I think the schedule planned is 9 months of selling the new edition 3 months of rest before next edition.
So every 12 months Modern is updated.

Currently Chaos and Rebellion are part of modern.

Chaos

Rebellion:

For both set rewards and promo can be used. for rebellion reward units are expected in the summer

My plan

I want to try to keep playing modern this needs constant investment. Hope i can sell my chaos when this rotates out of modern and so buy into the new edition.
This is something that is not sacred and i will re-evaluate when chaos rotates out modern.

Future hopes

My hope is more PvE. Currently all the battles are competitive. I would like to have more easy going format that for example only give you some soulbound rewards that can be used in ranked but without any other financial benefit.
One format i would also like some kind of arena more where you get a random deck where you battle in until you reach the end (x number of battle). Depending on how far you would get how better the rewards.

I do not expect this for long time while the splinterlands team is busy with new player experience and land 2.0

Secondly my hope is that the battles 2.0 will be implemented that was presented at splinterfest.

The Land Game

This can be in my opinion very big and fun. For some it might be a somewhat passive game play. The plan is that it will be a game where you collect resources upgrade building and craft your own spells.
These spells can be used for your battle in splinterlands.

Just three examples. If you ask me, these look pretty awesome. Great graphics by the team of @nateaguila.
Shared during the now monthly town-halls, great place to get information about future plans of the team.

My Plan

As you can see above my plots are divided of currently two regions:

  • 9 Quegmoor
  • 51 Ritrough

These are my plots:

I still find land is pretty expensive land plot can be bought up for now ~15$ you have a common land plot.
Then you need workers and a power core. ~15$ cards 5$ power core and stake 50$. So approximately a basic plot will set you 85$ per common plot.
This does not sound as much but i also want to expand my rebellion deck to make it future prove, so choices choices choices....

Currently i know i will not be able to produce enough to create my own spells i might contribute a bit... time will tell.

Land information

Land is and will be very big, to big to cover in one post. In the future splinterlands want to try to release smaller updated and not land 2.0 over two years. The idea was suggested to first only do some basic resource collecting like Wood and Ore with the corresponding building.
