RE: How to achieve Balance between Ego and Skill While Earning Maximum Starbits; Newbies Guide to Rising Star

Funny that you mentioned Blankos Block Party because I regularly played that game before I discovered the Hive community. Blankos was the first opportunity I found to actually play-to-earn and collect NFT's that you can trade on their marketplace.
Now I have to disagree that Hive does not have a AAA game like that because for me Splinterlands is a AAA game. It is a different type of game but of high standard non the less. Maybe Rising Star is not a AAA game but I enjoy it's simple play style. It's a bit like a faucet for Starbits with the possibility to collect cards that are actual NFT's.
I now spent more time on Hive playing Splinterlands and Rising Star than Blankos because I discovered that their token (Blank Bucks) has no value outside of the game and you are charged high costs for buying and selling their NFT's (Blankos, accessories).
That's what I like about Hive, you can for instance trade the DEC token you earn in Splinterlands and convert those without much almost costs to e.g. Starbits to buy cards in Rising Star. And if you like you can always convert your token to Hive token and convert them back into fiat like dollars.
As I just started playing Rising Star I enjoyed reading your instructions because I am now faced with the same question: how to play so efficient as possible to earn maximum Starbits without Ego getting in the way. So I started buying the cheapest cards with the highest Ego points. I now learn from you that that is not a good strategy. Thank you for giving me more inside in the game.
Oh, I think I missed your comments when it came so I'm just reading now. Maybe certainly you're right regarding the AAA title aspect, on the other hand - I think everyone has their perspective of AAA games though. Of course, there's a lot of Card Trading Games out there that are AAA so it also works for Splinterlands without a doubt.
Hive?, Hive is wonderful Lol, practically feeless as you describe. I see no reason anyone should transact off it but somewhere else when you can do everything other blockchains makes possible.
Lol, Rising Star might be the most rewarding Idle Miner I ever saw, and what's more is that IT IS FUN, I'm glad you enjoyed reading and got something out of it.
I might be further (level-wise) in the game, so feel free to ask me questions about hitches you face along the way on Rising Star, and even around Hive. Stay Blessed!
I had never heard of the term Idle Miner, so that's what they call such games.
Regarding Rising Star I have a question. I am now at level 19 and it seems like I am getting less Pizza Slices then before. Often I run out of energy so I can not play any further. I do have a Pizza Box and a Coffee Cup and I also bought cards to increase Luck. Do you have any suggestions how I can best play to increase my changes for Pizza Slices and Coffee ? Regards
