The Metaverse - Big Businesses By Small Entities

There's a lot of craziness in the air, lately it's been like the real world feels more like fake and the virtual universe is the real deal… Well that's the case with these digital structures, it's a technology bringing to life numerous dimensions where humans can coexist. While I was reading about the Minecraft player that spent two years building a virtual city I understood the human thirst for power and domination. With the way things are, crypto fuels a lot when it comes to phasing out the current governance structure.

The metaverse, the buzz word that has drawn a lot of attention has been on my mind since it's hype days. When you merge codes and wills, the results are limitless, this is where crypto, blockchain, and the well spoken web 3.0 solution plays in. The game is quite large but seen too little, almost like people view it from tiny lenses. The growing interest of a virtual universe is a hint to a new phase of business, administration, livelihood, it's basically rebuilding the system by rendering laws weak to its infrastructures.

With the metaverse, businesses are built with zero rules or laws fighting it's existence and functionalities. So in a way, you want to be looking at an economy with no government or centralised structure, this means the world would be moving into a more competitive market, because with limitless abilities, it's either an outlook for the craziest structure or the most richly built out institutions. Look at it as a new environment to build industries, deliver virtual solutions that somehow would need to have a backlink to real world value. But on a base level, people would pay millions to own a share of this virtual madness, I mean it's out of control, so that makes it the most precious place to stay invested right?

Let's break it down a bit…

It all boils down to branding, your marketing strategy working hand in hand with your supposed solutions, even though at the most, you just have to build what the world would view as an experience, therefore value it.

With the limits on real world ventures, it's much easier to speculate the success of virtual businesses. Let's say there could be an increase in middle men ventures, building bridges or channels to real world solutions, without having any real world properties, no branches, no headquarters, just a virtual structure. It's much harder to buy a product from a company that just owns social media accounts and no physical buildings right? Now instead of having accounts and probably lame or basic level websites, businesses of this nature can build structures powered by blockchain technology.

Virtualize a virtual market place where humans can explore with their virtual identities, probably shop while on the course. With these tools, businesses with virtual structures indirectly run organizations not physically put up, therefore free from a lot of things including cost of maintenance, electricity bills, outrageous laws and all sorts of real world downsides.

The idea of such ventures are increasingly enticing for every new investor. One has always wondered what life would feel like if everything was as though a video game, well, now it's happening. The ability to create, monetize and run these systems is ground breaking. With a virtual world, anyone can create a land, maybe grow crops and sell them? Or maybe build a company on the land, then sell them off? If you don't think people will find this attractive, think of video games where people literally pay to acquire certain in-game shits to best enjoy the experience. Now on this particular network, you don't actually own what you've purchased, but then imagine a system where you do, now that's too crazy to ignore!

This is all happening under our noses, take off your nose mask and smell it brahh…

We are going to see a great deal of innovation over the next few years. How is all of this going to play out? It is going to be a massive expansion of the digital world, affecting the prospects of anyone who gets involved.

Personally, I think the future is going to be a game that people are free to add what they want. That means it is going to be out of the hands of any single individual developer.

This is something that will foster more organic growth as opposed to the centralized planning of a few people.

Yes, the ability to create and make it work as one pleases is just amazing. It's a network of freedom, can't quite spot any impossibilities yet, with the way things are moving...

Things are moving in a ton of directions which is what tells me there will be an enormous amount of success. The points of failure are spread thin since there are so many components being worked on. This means that, at some point, a portion of them will come together.

Honestly, I think things will begin with disastrous attempts by aged brands to assert dominance over what they view as just the latest market to capitalize on. Not only because of the heavy anti-[whoever's on top] mentality simmering below the surface of it all, but also because the metaverse is initially going to be something people want to explore rather than simply replacing everyday mundane things with virtual versions of them.

To that end, I expect some rough years ahead of us as the best/worst ideas duke it out in the digital wild west. At some point, the general community will grow large enough and experience enough variety to form some consensus as to what "feels right".

I could relate your perspective to what is currently happening with CBDCs, look at the governments saying; oh everyone wants a digital currency? Alright, let's take advantage of that.

Not that it's even a bad thing to take advantage, what's sad is the entire approach, pretty fucked up.

However, that's where value will always find its way to the community. What attracts the community, attracts value and that's long term golden. No one exactly knows how this all plays out at the end of the day...
