Fan art of fire beetle

This is a splinterlands character post and I'm excited to share my creativity with you guys. I've been scrolling through all the characters in the splinterlands community to find some inspiration for my art today.

So I found fire beetle, this character has a really impressive and creative look. So I started drawing it.

I used ibispaints x for this fanart.

Method

Here is original character
I started sketching. First I

First I made his eyes and jaw and mustache outline

Then I drew the outline of his legs and midsection.

Then I made its fire-producing part, its belly part, and its waist part.

Then I outlined the two legs behind him.

Then I started coloring. First I colored the eyes and the part with the mustache.

Then I colored the part of his stomach where the fire comes from. I colored it in such a way that it looked a little different from the original character.

Here I have completed the coloring, I have tried to color it in the same way as the fire. Now I will put the background behind it.

Here I have put a little scary background because it looked like a scary insect to me, the way the fire was coming out of it, I was also afraid of it, so I have made a scary background.
