UNLEASHING POISON WITH HODLOR

Hello Splintermates and Fello Hiveans,

Hope you are having a great day. This weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! i would like to share "UNLEASHING POISON WITH HODLOR " where i am going to share a battle where cryptic gives poison ability to hodlor and gramel the hunger.

WHO IS HODLOR

Hodlor is a steward in the service of the archmagess Portia Nyr. Loyal. Quiet. Strong enough to carry ironbound chests fill with palladium ords without complaint. She trusts him to watch her back. He trusts her with everything.

During the Battle for Mox City, the rebels launched an assault on the Conclave Arcana’s manor. Portia and her mages locked themselves in their inner sanctum and began the incantations of a teleportation spell. But they needed time, so Hodlor held the door.

He braced against it as the rebels slammed into the wood. Behind him, Portia and the others chanted, their voices rising over the chaos. The hinges screamed. His feet slipped. The door began to open.

“Hold, Hodlor!” Portia hollered over the din. “Hold the door!”

He gritted his teeth, biceps bulging, thighs burning. But he held the door.
A blinding flash of light, and Hodlor blinked, looking around. He was in a forest clearing, along with the other members of the conclave. Scattered around them were books, chests, and other supplies, teleported with them. Before them stood a modest keep, abandoned by the looks of it. Vines and moss covered its crumbling walls, and its wooden doors were nearly rotted through.

Hodlor smiled shyly at Portia. “Hodlor hodls,” he said in his deep baritone rumble.

“Yes, my pet,” Portia said. “Now gather up our belongings and bring them inside. There’s work to be done.”

* HODLOR - hodlor is a 6 mana epic conclave arcana card. It has dual attack the reason it is very compatible with cryptic archon specially the poison added ability. At maxed level it has 2 magic attack and 3 melee attack. It also has 5 health and 4 speed. It also has 3 abilities; reach ability (can use melee attacks from the second position), dispel ability (removes magic buffs after a successful attack) and phase ability (magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks).

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 46 mana battle with thick skinned, explosive weaponry and blood and sunder battle ruleset against a very strong opponent. My opponent uses kaylia silverleaf as his archon summoning mostly magic monsters. While i used cryptic as my archon summoning hodlor team together with gramel the hunger , ujurak brave ( anti magic) and other 3 magic monsters chaos adjutant, baron fyatt and arachne weaher ( healer) . My team are then provided with poison by cryptic to hodlor and gramel the hunger to unleash poison to my opponent.

1. CRYPTIC - is a rebellion card dual water and death legendary archon. It is a 7 mana cards. It takes out -1 speed to all enemy units and provide blind to all enemy units from the start of the battle. It also gives added two type of tactics , first option is to give enfeeble, -1 to targets melee power after each succesful attack and retalliate - 50% chance to counter melee attack even after being defeated. Cryptic second tactic is poison - provides 50% chance to provide poison after succesful attack. Poison units will lose 2 health at the beginning of each round . And expose - provide 80% chance to remove forcefield, lookout, deflect, shield, void, void armor, cleanse or immunity after succesful attack.

2. UJURAK BRAVE - ujurak brave is 6 mana common deat rebellion soulbound reward card. At maxed level it has 3 melee attack, 4 armor, 9 health and 3 speed. It also has immunity ability (Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple) and silence ability (-1 magic power to all enemy units).

3. CHAOS ADJUTANT - is an 5 mana rare rebellion neutral modern soulbound reward card. At maxed level it has 2 magic attack and has 8 health and 3 speed. It also has 3 abilities; scattershot ability ( magic and ranged attack - targets a random enemy unit ), snare ability ability (100% chanced to hit and apply snared to targets with flying. Snared units loss all bonuses from flying) and poison ability (50% chance to apply Poisoned after a successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round)

4. BARON FYATT - is a legendary death and fire promo card monster. It is a 5 mana death and fire magic monster. At maxed level it has 2 magic attack, 6 health and 2 speed. Baron fyatt has 4 abilities; halving ability (-50% to targets power (rounded up) after a succesful attack, scattershot ability ( magic and ranged targets a random opponent), ambush ability (takes an extra turn prior to the first round of the battle) and blind ability (all enemy melee and ranged attacks had a 15% higher chance of missing their target. Blind also affects units with phase).

5. ARACHNE WEAVER - is an epic rebellion soulbound reward. It is 5 mana death magic monster with 2 magic, 7 health and 2 speed . Arachne Weaver has Corrupted Healing ability (Each round, restore 70% of max health (rounded down) to other allied units. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1), scavenger ability (+1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.) and poison ability (50% chance to apply Poisoned after a successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round.)

6. GRAMEL THE HUNGER - is a legendary conclave arcana neutral modern promo card. At level 2 it has triple attack 1 melee attack, 1 magic attack and 2 ranged attack. It has 1 armor, 7 health and 3 speed. It also has charge, scattershot and relentless strike ability at level 2. Gramel the hunger is almost a perfect monster and almost good at most ruleset due to its triple attack that it offer and its charge ability to attack at any position, which is very compatible to cryptic specially when providing poison to enemy units.

In this battle 46 mana battle with thick skinned, explosive weaponry and blood and sunder battle ruleset against a very strong opponent my strategy is to used cryptic as summoner which provide poison and exposed ability to my monster with multiple attacks hodlor ( second position for his reach ability ) and gramel the hunger ( last position to utilize his triple attack) . I then used ujurak brave as a tank which also provide silenece to all my enemy units. Then i used 3 magic monster as 3rd , 4th and 5th position namely chaos adjutant, baron fyatt and arachne weaver as my team healer. In overall i got 4 monster unleashing poison but i am unleashing 7 poison in every round which help me increase my winning chance.
