MY FIRST WOOD HARVEST AT REGION 118 EVERFALL

Hello Praetorians, Splintermates and Hiveans,

Lookslike the crypto universe is breaking out after BTC printing a new all time high where everyone who buys BTC and HODL it are now in green territory. Will be the land games take off next or we may wait for land 2.0 where all who bought splinterland lands and HODL it will be smiling happily.

Today my 2 land plots at Region 118 after going construction and activating it finally to experience its first wood harvest. The 2 land plots has a logging camp worksite and both harvested 2100 wood each with 12.50 wood /hr produce .

WOOD HARVEST

They say that the first harvest are mostly the less production after going some harvest the next will be more. Both land plots has a logging camp worksite producing wood resources. Currently after powering up and staking DEC and card workers both had the first harvest of 2100 wood and needed 4200 grain to feed the worker to be able to harvest .

118 everfall harvest.jpg1. Region 118 Everfall PR-GLL-118-01-038 producing 12.500/ Hr wood a total of 2100 per harvest at current.

HARVEST 2A.jpg2. Region 118 Everfall PR-GLL-118-01-048 producing 12.500/ Hr wood a total of 2100 per harvest at current same with the other land plot.

DOING THE MATH IF EFFICEINCY IS ACHIEVED :

NOTE: Computation are all converted into DEC
Refer from the data below with 2100 wood harvest (1 DEC = 28.102) divided by 28.102 we get 58.664 less 10% tax ( 210/28.102 = 5.87 DEC ) and less 4200 grain to feed the worker to be able to harvest ( 1 DEC = 103.99 Grain ), thus 4200 divided by 103.99 = 40.389 DEC .
Therefore: 58.664 - ( 40.389 + 5.87 ) = 12.405 DEC

Now we conclude that the efficciency is positive. So both the land plot PR-GLL-118-01-038 and PR-GLL-118-01-048 can continue wood production. I am planning to change my wood production to stone based from @azircon recommendation : ( https://peakd.com/hive-169191/@azircon/land-strategy-pyramid ) but looks like my land plot worksite can only produce wood, sps, and aura . Not sure if possible to change to produce stone, iron or grain and how to do it.

ADDING LAND WORKER AND STAKED DEC:

Note: 10,000 Staked DEC requires for maxed land worker regarding what foil type is.

image.png

After knowing that the efficiency was achieved, i added stake DEC and land worker to boost my wood production. I learned from Gatheringthemagic that when adding land worker always staked DEC. A maxed card always requires 10,000 DEC to stake , so to get the required DEC Staked when adding single bcx/cc just divide it by the number of bcx/cc the land worker your adding.

138 added epic.jpg
From 12.50/HR wood production after adding staked DEC and adding land worker both land plot production increases to 18.50/HR .

THOUGHTS

The feeling when your land plot having its first harvest are always the most exciting part. Land are now getting more and more exciting as land now be able to craft wagons/ repair wagons. And a new land development that a land will be able to craft cards just for lands boost and not for ranked battles are coming soon sounds pleasing to hear.

....HAVE A NICE DAY .....

..... VONAK .....

Unfortunately you can only produce stone of the base resource on that land type

Oh i see, so need to consider that also when buying land. I though at first you can just swap to any resources .

No, there are 14 land “terrains” that produce the 4 base resources, grain plots are normally a little more expensive but it’s worth shopping around to find the best prices

Nice post...

i see in the image 100% capacity, be aware that you are throwing resources away. Harvest within the 7 day period before it hits 100%

Thanks for that info, i always thought it needed 100% to harvest.
