Splinterlands - Opening 5 gladius packs: Getting one golden card

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will be opening 5 gladius packs in my account: langice (currently the only one I'm playing in ranked mode, since it has more soulbound cards). Each pack costs 2,000 merits, so I spent a total of 10,000 merits. Merits can be obtained by purchasing them in the Glint shop, and in the end of brawl battles.

I didn't get any legendary cards this time, but I did get one golden common unit and an epic one, so it's not bad at all.

I currently have Alva the Crusher at level 5, where, in addition to her Bloodlust ability, which all gladius units have, she has the Shield ability, which allows her to take 50% less damage from physical attacks. And she also has the Retaliate ability, which allows her a 50% chance to counterattack when an enemy melee unit attacks her. I would need 2 more Alva the Crusher to level her up to level 6, where she will gain +1 health.

Thanks to having obtained one Trapp Falloway, I can now level it up to level 4, where this smiling creature will gain the Halving ability, which reduces the attack of the target unit by 50% (rounded down) after a succesfully attack, which is pretty awesome, as only a few units have this ability.

I'm a long way from having my gladius cards at max level, but it's great to be able to slowly getting them, as they are still playable in the modern ranked format, well, only when the Are You not entertained ruleset is active, but they are pretty powerful and always manage to make an impact in any battle they are in, that's the great thing about them, and the reason I want to get more gladius cards, especially Quora, which I currently have at level 3, which is pretty decent, but in max level, she is more powerful.
