Splinterlands - Get ready for Vitassent, the legendary elemental

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. The miniset of the Conclave Arcana edition, which will be called Escalation, is just around the corner; next month, if all goes well, the presale will begin on February 10th. So far, a few cards have been revealed, and one that I love is definitely Vitassent, a legendary life unit. It's an elemental and very aggresive, just the way I like to play. Amazing design and it reminds me of the archons from Starcraft; very cool.

VITASSENT

Vitassent counts with two types of attack: magic and melee, and each has 3 attack power at the max level. It has great speed, but not many hit points or armor, so it's best to summon it in the backline.

Vitassent can not only perform magic attacks in the backline, but can also perform melee attacks in the backline thanks to its Charge ability.

It's the second unit in Splinterlands and the first in the Conclave Arcana set to have the Kindred Will: Ambush ability, which allows adjacent units with Kindred Spirit to gain Ambush, meaning they can attack before the first round starts.

Last but not least, Vitassent has the Armored Strike ability, so it will attack first using its armor stats. Pretty aggressive I must say, it will be interesting to increase its armor.

BEST ALLY

Currently, the only unit available in Splinterlands with the Kindred Spirit ability is the chimeric beast, Pallus, which will be able to have ambush. When Pallus is summoned alongside Vitassent or Riklauniman, the latter being the first unit to have the Kindred Will ability, its allies will be able to have true strike, meaning their attacks will not miss.

Vitassent will surely be a threat to enemies when Pallus is their close ally. You know what it means? Commander Slade, who has a high chance of evading attacks, and even more so when his archon is Criptic, will stand no chance against Vitassent, who with true strike attacks will quickly defeat it, and many other units that rely on evasion to survive.

BEAST ARCHON ALLY

The water archon, LOVING THE MOO, will be able to summon Vitassent, as long as the life element is available in the battle. This means that Vitassent will have 50% chance of applying poison when attacking, and since it can make up to three attacks per turn, its chances will be higher.

LOVING THE MOO can also grant the Blast ability, allowing Vitassent to deal 50% of its damage to adjacent target units. In addition, Vitassent can have the Magic Reflect ability, so when damage it is damaged by magic attacks, the attackers will take 50% of the damage.

ALLIES WITH PROTECT

The following units have the Protect ability, which grants 2 armor points to their allies. They will help Vitassent so that it can make a lot of damage when performing armored strike attacks. All of them can be played in the modern format.

VITASSENT is really an incredible unit, and will definitely be considered meta. It costs 9 mana, but it's totally worth it. Since it has the Kindred Spirit ability, there will probably be a unit in the miniset with the Kindred Will ability; I wonder what it will be and how it will help Vitassent. I really want to get this card, as it's one of my favorites; it's from the life element :D .
