Splinterlands Challenge - Lorkus with Continuum Seer VS Sheng Xiao with Rage Dragon [ENG/ESP]

Hello everyone, this time I will be participating in this Splinterlands Challenge. I will be sharing an amazing battle where one of my magic units, Continuum Seer will fight against the Rage Dragon to prove who dominates in the battle. Of course, they won't be alone, at least at first, allies will sacrifice themselves for them until they confront each other.
First, let's look at why I like to choose Continuum Seer in my Splinterlands battles.
One of the reasons is that I have this card at max level. Also, Continuum Seer only costs 4 mana per battle, and has a magic attack power of 3, which is a lot for a low mana unit. While most fire magic units of 4 mana or less reach a magic attack power of 2, Continuum Seer has 1 more power than them, and that helps a lot in battles.
Continuum Seer not only has such magic power, but also has a high speed of 8. This speed being the highest of all fire units, only sharing this speed with the fire gladius unit Krash Wanderford.
She has 2 abilities that are useful thanks to her high speed:
Continuum Seer will deal 2 physical damage to the enemy unit that misses an attack against her thanks to her Backfire ability.
Thanks to her Phase ability, she is able to dodge magical attacks as if they were melee or ranged attacks. Therefore, magic units will also have a hard time attacking her.
Fun Fact: There are only 2 fire magic units with 4 or less mana that reach a magic attack power of 3. One is Continuum Seer, of course, and the first one to have this power was the epic Goblin Firemage from the Untamed edition.
The archon I will be using this battle, as mentioned in the title will be the powerful Lorkus, who will increase the melee attack of all units and most importantly the magic attack of Continuum Seer by 1. And thanks to Lorkus' left-tactic, I will give the Life Leech and Affliction ability to Continuum Seer, allowing her to gain health and max health after each attack based on 50% damage she deals, and she will also have a 50% chance to apply Affliction to the enemy she attacks, preventing them from healing.
On the other hand, my opponent will be using the archon Sheng Xiao from the recent Conclave Arcana set, I would like to use it too, but it costs too much. Sheng Xiao allows my opponent to grant the Poison Burst and Corrosive Ward ability to two units, and grants it to its first two melee units. The Poison Burst is quite dangerous, as when one of my units defeats the ones that have it, my attacking unit will be poisoned, and its adjacent allies will have a 50% chance of also receiving the poison.
Looking at the enemy lineup, before pressing the battle, I knew that the Rage Dragon would be the real threat to my units, as it takes 50% less damage from magic attacks, and can gain more health each time it attacks, but I also knew I still had a chance to win thanks to Continuum Seer, so let's see what happens.
In the first round, Chaos Evoker defeats the enemy Oridum Graybrow, and because of this, Chaos Evoker and my Ujural Elder receive poison. Then, Oridum reappears in the battle due to his Resurgence ability, with full health and buffs. After that, my Chaos Adjutant, since it attacks randomly, applies poison to the last enemy unit, Nimbledook Scout.
In the second round, the enemy Nimbledook Scout is defeated due to the poison. Then, Chaos Evoker once again defeats Oridum Graybrow, this time for good. Later, Rage dragon defeats my Drybone Megalodon. After that, Chaos Adjutant defeats the enemy Halfling Refugee, due to this my own Refugee and Chaos Adjutant receive the poison ability.
In the third round, my Chaos Evoker and Ujurak Elder are defeated by the poison effect. Then, Continuum Seer defeats the enemy Runeseer Sevaya. And after that, Rage dragon defeats my Halfling Refugee.
Then, in the fifth round, Chaos Adjutant after receiving the attacks of Rage dragon is defeated by the poison.
So after that, a showdown ensues between the Rage dragon and Continuum Seer, who will emerge victorious?
Full Battle
Thanks to the high speed of Continuum Seer, she was able to dodge many attacks from the Rage dragon, preventing it from gaining health with its Life Leech ability. After many rounds, Continuum Seer appeases the Rage dragon, defeating it with a final magic attack.
On this occasion, Lorkus with Continuum Seer managed to defeat the dragon enemy lineup, composed of Sheng Xiao with the Rage dragon.
This battle proves that power alone is not enough for a unit to win, but that its other stats and abilitites also play an important rol in the battle. Rage, a legendary dragon with a mana cost of 16, couldn't defeat the 4 mana Continuum Seer this time.

Hola a todos, esta vez participaré en este Splinterlands Challenge. Compartiré una batalla increíble en la que una de mis unidades mágicas, Continuum Seer, luchará contra Rage dragon para demostrar quién domina la batalla. Claro que no estarán solos, al menos al principio; los aliados se sacrificarán por ellos hasta que se enfrenten.
Primero, veamos por qué me gusta elegir a Continuum Seer en mis batallas de Splinterlands.
Una de las razones es porque tengo esta carta al máximo nivel. Además, Continuum Seer solo cuesta 4 de maná por batalla y tiene un poder de ataque mágico de 3, siendo esto mucho para una unidad de bajo maná. Mientras que la mayoría de las unidades de magia de fuego de 4 de maná o menos alcanzan un poder de ataque mágico de 2, Vidente del Continuum tiene mas poder que estos, y eso ayuda mucho en las batallas.
Continuum Seer no solo posee tal poder mágico, sino que también posee una alta velocidad de 8. Siendo esta la velocidad más alta de todas las unidades de fuego, compartiéndola solo con la unidad de gladius de fuego Krash Wanderford.
Tiene dos habilidades que son útiles gracias a su alta velocidad:
Continuum Seer inflige 2 de daño físico a la unidad enemiga que falla un ataque contra ella gracias a su habilidad Backfire.
Gracias a su habilidad Phase, puede esquivar ataques mágicos como si fueran cuerpo a cuerpo o a distancia. Por lo tanto, las unidades mágicas también tendrán dificultades para atacarla.

En esta ocasión, Lorkus con Continuum Seer logró derrotar a la alineación de dragones enemiga, compuesta por Sheng Xiao con Rage dragon.
Esta batalla demuestra que el poder solo no es suficiente para que una criatura salga victoriosa, sino que sus otras estadísticas y habilidades también juegan un rol importante en la batalla. Rage, un dragón legendario con un costo de maná de 16, no pudo derrotar al 4 de mana Continuum Seer esta vez.
