All New Elementals (Conclave Arcana reward cards) in Splinterlands with wallpapers

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles.

Conclave Arcana reward cards have brought 5 new units of the elemental bloodline, there is one elemental for each element, curious. I'm going to analyze their abilities and I've also created wallpapers for each one. I'm no expert, but I did the best I could and that's what matters :P . I hope you like them a lot. I used photoshop and all the elements of the wallpaper are from Splinterlands.

First, let's quickly learn what Elementals are in the world of Splinterlands.

Elementals Lore

There are only 6 more units with the elemental bloodline in the modern format (2 from the rebellion set and 4 from the conclave arcana set).

But in the wild format, there are many units with the elemental bloodline. There are 6 more in the alpha/beta set.

And in the sets of untamed and chaos legion, there are 13 elemental units (6 untamed and 7 chaos legion). The Astral Entity is the only archon elemental, but unfortunately it does not possess the bloodline dominion ability, so for now there are no ability or stats exclusively to elementals.

But when the new archon Loving the Moo, belonging to the canisan bloodline, enters the game at the end of the current conflict (in which, by the way, I participate), in addition to summoning his own canisan friends, it can also summon elemental units, whether water or not. And each elemental summoned by Loving the Moo, will gain the poison ability, that will be awesome. It will be available on November 22, so get ready for the new meta.

Now, let's look at the abilities and stats and of the new CA reward elementals. And the beautiful wallpapers I made :P

Magmaforged

image.png

Magmaforged starts with no abilities. At level 3, it gains the Pinpoint ability, which allows their sneak units to always hit their targets as long as this unit is alive. At level 7, it gains the Return Fire ability, which returns 50% of the damage dealt to this unit by ranged attackers. And at max level, it gains the Backfire ability, which inflicts 2 physical damage when enemy units miss attacks against this unit.

For 3 mana, this elemental has good health and speed, average ranged attack power, and its most useful ability is, of course, the new ability, Pinpoint, so it will be excellent in low mana battles with alongside sneak units like Night Stalker and Gobalano Soldier.

Coralforged

image.png

Coralforged starts at level 1 with the Flank ability, so if at the start of the battle, this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position will gain the Reach ability, allowing the melee unit to attack from there. At level 4, it gets the Fury ability, which allows it to inflict double damage to taunt units. At level 7, it gets the dodge ability, giving it a 25% chance to evade physical attacks. And at max level, it gets the Shield ability, so any physical damage it receives will be reduced by 50% (rounded down).

An excellent tank unit, especially against physical attacks, so it will perform best in battles where there are only melee units, and one of its best water allies that can benefit from its flank ability, is the Commander Slade.

Swampwrought

Swampwrought starts at level 1 with the flying ability, giving it a 25% chance to evade physical attacks from non-flying units. At level 2, it gets the Camouflage ability, so it cannot be directly attacked while in the backline. And at max level, it gets the Slow ability, which reduces the speed of enemy units by 1 while this unit is alive.

Its stats are not exceptional, except for its magic attack power of 3, which is excellent for a 5 mana unit. Its abilities don't quite convince me; in my opinion, they don't fit the elemental, but I could be wrong. In any case, as I've already mentioned, its magic attack power is what makes it great, and very useful to use in battles where only odd mana units are allowed.

Halo Wisp

image.png

Halo Wisp starts at level 1 with the sneak ability, so while in the backline, it will attack the enemy unit in the last position. At level 2, it gains the Divine Shield ability, so the first damage it receive will be ignored (except for poison and debilitations effects). And at max level, it will get the Armored Strike ability, which allows this unit to attack using its armor first, this attack counts as a physical attack.

For only 4 mana, it possesses an excellent ranged attack power of 3, and its stats are also good, especially its armor. Its disadvantage would be its speed of only 1, but this could become an advantage in battles where the Reverse Speed modifier is active, allowing slow units to attack first.

Nullwrought

image.png

Nullwrought starts at level 1 with 2 abilities: the Bloodline Tribute (when defeated, grants elemental units +1 melee power attack and +1 to all stats) and Sneak (while this unit is in the backline, attacks the enemy in the last position). At level 3, it gains the Demoralize ability, which reduces the melee attack power of enemy units by 1. And at max level, it gets the Affliction ability, so its attacks will have a 50% chance of applying the afflicted status to enemy units, preventing them from being healed.

This elemental is quite strong, with a melee attack power of 5, but it is definitely not a tank unit. Therefore, it performs well in the backline, and in battles with only melee units. And currently, in the modern format, when defeated it can only increase the melee attack power of two elementals, the Coralforged and Moltel Elemental.

And finally, the wallpaper with all the elementals (conclave arcana reward cards) together. I hope you like it :)
