Advancing from Gold III to Diamond III in Splinterlands.
Hello everyone!
This season in Splinterlands, after many battles in the modern ranked format, I managed to advance from Gold III to Diamond I in my account: langice (currently the only account I'm playing since it has more soulbound cards). So I got a lot of loot chests by advancing to higher leagues, I wasn't really expecting anything more than some merits and potions to open packs, but the Diamond loot chests gave me a beautiful surprise.
GOLD II rewards:
Unfortunately in these loot chests, I didn't get any rare or higher rarity cards. But at least I got 7 common cards, 11 alchemy potions, 4 legendary potions, 130 merits and 2 energy.
GOLD I rewards:
My loot chests this time were a little better, I got 2 rare cards and 1 common, 9 alchemy potions, 8 legendary potions and 1,831 merits.
DIAMOND III rewards:
After many chests, the game rewards me with a beautiful legendary unit, Blackmoor Jinx, this being the second one I have in my collection. I also got 5 rare cards and 11 common cards, 15 alchemy potions and 1700 merits. My best loot chests, after a long time.
Now, I just need 1 more Drybone Hobgoblin card to level him up to max level, where he won't get any new ability, but his melee attack power will increase to 3, pretty good for a common unit. So, I will be able to use Hobgoblin in the Might Makes Right modifier, which only allows units with 3 or more attack power to enter the battlefield.
At the time of writing this post, there are still 3 days and 17 hours left until the season ends, so I will try to advance to at least Diamond I this season, so I can get more rewards and maybe another beautiful legendary unit ^^
