Broken Arrows Modifier In Focus

Broken Arrows Modifier changes how battles are played because ranged attacks are not allowed at all. Units that rely on ranged damage cannot be picked your choices are a bit limited. This modifier pushes players to think more about melee and magic attack units keeping the creativity in Splinterlands refreshing.
Because ranged attacks are gone, players often look for other ways to deal damage and magic attack units are usually the main choice. Magic units become more common and melee units with good abilities gain more value in this modifier. Broken Arrows Modifier may not look important but limiting the choices makes you able to increase the chance of predicting what your enemies might use. Countering their lineup makes it easier in this modifier as well.

Modifiers

Broken Arrows - You cannot summon units with ranged attacks.. Units with 2 types of attack (which include ranged) cannot be used.
- Broken Arrows Modifier feels very restrictive at first because one full attack type is gone from the game. This changes a 33% chance of predicting what your enemy will use to 50%. Since there are no ranged units in this battle, you need to be more creative to surprise your enemies increasing your wins. This modifier rewards players who knows abilities and modifiers more and knows flexible units that can still contribute even without ranged attacks.

Battle Breakdown
Early Game:
This battle has two quirks. First, you cannot use range units because of Broken Arrows modifier and second, you have very limited mana to use. When there's low mana available, I always want to use Weapons Training. The units with no attacks that can use Weapons Training are usually low leveled which makes them very efficient for this kind of battle.
Mid Game:
I feel like I am on the disadvantage at this point in time. the enemy has two units with high health while my units are very close to dying. This wouldn't happen but this was a turning point and made me very scared if I am going to be honest.
Late Game:
Battle flipped towards the end. With the combination of Daarg Deadblast's Magic Weapons Training and Marlai Singariel, my units whom shouldn't really have no attacks are now dealing 3 magic damage. Since I have more units in my team, I had more damage and the enemy needs more units to deal with for them to win.

Closing Thoughts
Broken Arrows Modifier forces players to rethink how they build teams and how they deal damage. With range attacks gone, abilities and flexibility become very important. Increasing your options lets you avoid weaker picks. If you plan around the modifier and pick the right abilities and units, you can control the fight and make sure your enemies die before you do.
