[ENG-ESP] Illustration - painting a beautiful dark-haired girl
Hello everyone, it is a pleasure to greet you again, lately I have been studying new art creation processes and I practiced a lot the use of various tools and layers to produce the following work in which I worked on the concept of "transmitting emotions".
I always try to make any art I do mean something and convey some emotion, something that is not always easy, what emotion can a chair convey? A rock? A face? For me it is not enough to paint someone crying to convey sadness, but the artist should feel what he paints since for me art is the feeling that we can transmit to people, for the next work I would like to ask them, what emotion do I want to transmit to them? ?
Hola a todos es un placer volver a saludarlos, últimamente eh estado estudiando nuevos procesos de creación de arte y practiqué mucho la utilización de diversas herramientas y capas para producir la siguiente obra en la que trabajé el concepto de "transmitir emociones".
Siempre intento que cualquier arte que hago signifique algo y que transmita alguna emoción, ¿cosa que no siempre es fácil, que emoción puede trasmitir una silla?, ¿una roca?, un rostro? para mí no basta con pintar a alguien llorando para trasmitir tristeza, sino que el artista debería sentir lo que pinta ya que para mí el arte es el sentimiento que podemos trasmitir a las personas, para la siguiente obra quisiera preguntarles, ¿qué emoción quiero trasmitirles?
PROCESO - PROCESS
I remember that a long time ago I read in a book that said something like "first draw the lines and then paint the volumes" and it is the process that I particularly use, I always make a drawing prior to painting, sometimes more detailed and sometimes not so much, for this case I drew a woman and try to detail the most important parts of her face, starting with the eyes trying to maintain a good proportion between them and the face.
Recuerdo que hace mucho leí en un libro que decía algo como "primero dibuja las líneas y luego pinta los volúmenes" y es el proceso que yo particularmente uso, siempre hago un dibujo previo a la pintura, a veces más detallado y otras no tanto, para este caso dibujé a una mujer e intente detallar las partes más importante de su rostro, comenzando por los ojos intentando mantener una buena proporción entre ellos y el rostro.
One part that will always mark how a face will look is the angle of inclination that we give to the jaw, I use straighter lines and more angular corners for men, in the case of women I use more curves and more angles. short.
Una parte que siempre va a marcar el cómo se verá un rostro es el Angulo de inclinación que le demos a la mandíbula, líneas más rectas y esquinas más anguladas las uso para los hombres, en el caso de las mujeres uso más curvas y ángulos más cortos.
Until not long ago I never applied color bases to my drawings, but then I learned that it is very useful to prevent the background from influencing the colors that we will apply, a base that is generally used is a light gray then in a separate layer we will apply the other colors.
Hasta hace no mucho tiempo nunca aplicaba bases de color a mis dibujos, pero luego aprendí que es muy útil para evitar que el fondo influjo en los colores que aplicaremos, una base que generalmente se usa es un gris claro luego en una capa aparte aplicaremos los demás colores.
At this point I start to add the true colors of our drawing, I start with a very light orange color that is perfect for the skin and a base gray to what will be the hair that will go black, then in a new layer, I start to add more details by adding shadows to the skin with a slightly darker color.
En este punto empiezo a agregar los colores verdaderos de nuestro dibujo, inicio con un color naranja muy claro que es perfecto para la piel y un gris de base a lo que será el cabello que ira de negro, luego en una nueva capa, comienzo a agregar más detalles añadiendo sombras a la piel con un color un poco más oscuro.
Now it's time to start adding details to the face, the first thing I do is add enough shadows to the most important places (nose, mouth and the outline of the face) which will allow me to remove the "lineart" layer and then I start incorporate more details on different layers, using both the watercolor brush and the airbrush.
Ahora es momento de empezar a agregar detalles al rostro, lo primero que hago es agregar las suficientes sombras a los lugares más importantes (nariz, boca y el contorno del rostro) lo que me permitirá quitar la capa del "lineart" y posteriormente empiezo a incorporar más detalles en distintas capas, usando tanto el pincel de acuarela como el aerógrafo.
With the details that we added we are already having a good face however as we want it to look much better we begin to add a darker orange to which we will blur along the face to add a little depth and with the airbrush with a reddish color in an opaque layer at 35% we will add a blush along the face.
Con los detalles que agregamos ya vamos teniendo un buen rostro sin embargo como queremos que se vea mucho mejor empezamos a agregar un naranja más oscuro al que difuminaremos a lo largo del rostro para agregar un poco de profundidad y con el aerógrafo con un color rojizo en una capa opaca al 35% añadiremos un rubor a lo largo del rostro.
Here I wanted to add a little texture to the face and for this I will use small spots that make the effect of freckles on the skin, for this work the "spray" brush is very useful.
Aquí quise añadirle un poco de textura al rostro y para ello utilizare manchas pequeñas que hagan el efecto de pecas en la piel, para este trabajo es de mucha utilidad el pincel de "pulverización".
We move on to adding color to the hair, we use the color black and paint until we fill it all in, then we add details with soft and gray and finish with a bit of blue to give it more life.
Pasamos a agregar color al cabello, usamos el color negro y pintamos hasta llenarlo todo, luego agregamos detalles con blando y gris y terminamos con un poco de azul para darle más vida.
