The Chase is Real!! Here some tips on New Modern

what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing?
In this content i want to share how to start grinding and making profit in New Modern. But, once again this is Non Financial Advice. But, this is my experience based on my account. And the calculating is not really fixed since market sometimes will change every second. But, at least i want to invite more of new player or the high dreamer player that want to be in the top like me.

Before i tell you how to get profit in New Modern. I need to tell you that right now in this season only Wild format is free from the entrance fee. So, if you still not prepared for New Modern, i think you need to play on Wild first at least for main capital for buying or renting for the next season. And i already buying total just 10 starter pack at Pre sale and lets see how much this pack can help me in this new Modern and lets see what i got.

Okay for merrier lets open 1 pack first. Not too good only 2 rare in this pack. And the rest are common. I am not expecting any Black Foil since first i am not that lucky person and second i dont have any midnight potion on my account.

Yay the next i open 1 pack i got the first epic. So, right now i know where to start upgrading the high level card. Of course this Hodlor yeah i mean Hodor on Game of Thrones. LOL. This epic is awesome and kinda strong.

And then the rest is this i open up the rest. And some of them i did not record it. And also i buying some of starter pack since i am seeking The archons especially the Ulund archon and Elf Archon. Both of those element is kinda strong and really usefull on battlefield.

Okay, first i need to say that i am still have profit on my account. If you want to see how much my progress on my account you can check on my weekly content and here from yesterday my account progress.
Lets dig in in the main theme.

Where to Start

There is 2 ways to get profit in this game alone. Lets throw away from making blog like i did right now and just focus on in game profit.
For your information i am just normal player and still renting player. And some of cards i am not renting anymore since i already have it, But considered if you are not having all new modern cards at all.

Wild Battles

First, if you having old cards you can start to battling on Wild format since this season is free entry. Second since Survival temporarily closed down it should make the Rental cost for old cards will cheaper than usual. So, this is the early profit making.

New Modern Battles

Second, this is my way right now since i am playing on Modern format as always.

For the summoner i only renting this cards.

• Cryptic

I need Cryptic to handle player that usually bombing using Eternal Tofu and using Grimbandun Smith as tanker. Since i dont have Venka The Vile, what i can do is renting this Summoner. This summoner gives opponent line up debuff 1 speed and Blind Stats. And also giving 2 monster either Retaliate and Enfeblee or Poison and Expose**.
Usually i am using Expose and Poison and giving to 2 units that having opportunity or scattershot.

• Lorkus

The second summoner i pick Lorkus. This summoner is really needed if want to playing Magic Army. Since right now there are not longer having Summoner that gives void anymore like Immortalis and Forcefield ability is no longer exist on New Modern. So, it will make this summoner will be shiny again. And this summoner is one of the Eternal Tofu killer. This summoner giving buff to all allied units 1 melee and 1 magic. And also can pick giving 2 units either Life Leech and Affliction or Trample and Fury. Usually i am playing with Life Leech And Affliction.

• Akane

The third is Akane this dragon is costing 5 mana and can make surprising army. This summoner gives only 2 choices that need to gives. The first one is 1 unit that having lookout ability. And the others is 2 units that having ambush ability.

• Fire Units

For fire units i usually rent only this. The key is Chaos Orc,Torch Vizer,Rush Townsend,Baron Fyatt. And the rest if you have excess money you can rent more.

• Death Units

For Death units i have mistakes that i renting 2 Chaos Animator cards that really wasting money to renting double. But, i dont realize till right now. And for Death units that i usually used is Fenmoor Haunt,Chaos Animator, Chaos Jailer, Excecutioner Kraan, Barashkukor.

• Water Units

On Water units there is some cards that crutial for me. Daigendark Surveyor,Thanalorian Scion, Daarg Deadblast, and Hencling Enforcer. The rest is kinda used but not everytime.

• Earth Units

On Earth units, there is not much that really important for me. But, i still need these units on my deck Lurking Puffer,Endless Ape,** Blackmoor Nymph**, Lord Thanalor. The other is not too important. But sometimes they are kinda really usefull.

• Life Units

In Life units i really recommended Skyspire Yak, Meriput Magician, Silverblade Fighter,Harbinger of Chaos, and Commander Guff. The rest is usually as support.

• Dragon Units

On Dragon unit i only renting Rage.

• Neutral Units

On Neutral Units i only reanting 4 units that is Nimbledook Ranger, Drybone Bowdog**, Pallus,and Great Porcupine.

And if you need to know how much i rent for a season you can count it by yourself

it just cost me 1,8k Dec per day. So, basically i need to collect at least 180 SPS in one day to make it Break Even. So, what do you think need to do? this is what i do.

Source Income

• Tournament

  The easiet way to get little bit liquid funding is participate on tournament. But, here the deal. Mostly player that participate on tournament is pro player or scholar player. So, at least you guys need practice on training ground first. And yeah you dont need to be number 1 on tourney at least qualify for the next round is okay. It would give you the average price that giving capital for the next rent or can buy some of cards since it is liquid.

There are many type tournaments that can be participated in from modern until wild. What you need to do is pick the tournament that really fit with your cards, and dont forget to rent SPS. And i suggesting to rent staked SPS to if you dont have any staked sps. This can be used at once with ranked battle too.

• Ranked Battle

Okay this is for example when i am using my account. Not intending to show off but i got more than 15 SPS per win battle. on Diamond 1. If you starting from novice i think need some time into reaching gold 1 or diamond 1 at least 3 days in a row with total 100 energy.

Why i can said that we need more energy to used to climb up the rank??
yes like you can see in the picture above. Sometimes you can encountered with player that have high levels or at least not our league at all. Like me encountered with top player champion. Since i am scholar player that getting used with playing this game. The most usually lost because lack of cards or not getting used with the cards that never used just it. Otherwise i can win the battle. And i think you guys can win too if you have complete deck.

look my battles, from there you can see that i am only have no more than 55% win rate.

This is total i got from Brawl and Ranked battle so far. I think today is the third day after new Season begin.

And for staked SPS i renting 200k

And the rest is need to be consistency to build assets and getting used with our mainly deck. And once maxed one cards and i suggesting to maxed summoner first. You can reduce the rent cost and repeat it until you owned mostly all of cards. And if i calculate correctly what i can get in this season with this rewards and consistency reach at least 50% win rate. It would give me almost 2500 SPS plus brawl i guess it can reach 2900 SPS. And i guess the tournament is the bonus to make profit more.
