My Opinion On Eth
Just sharing my opinion on ETH and general negativity people are showing against ETH L2 launches.
The general sentiment I came across is that every week new ETH L2 launch news are coming out.
There will be 1000s of new L2s coming out from ETH ecosystem in future.
The argument I see and understand is that the value will move out from ETH to these L2 and ETH will feel a dry place.
I think this is sort of inaccurate prediction.
Because this is exactly what James envisioned since the inception of KMD. His idea that it doesn't matter if the core platform is getting direct value or not, but if it's technology stack is used to create new projects on top of it or independent of it, that tech stack is supposed to keep getting gradual spilled off value driven back into it.
If I think of ETH and it's L2s this way, I do expect it to keep going upward in decades ahead!
There is no way if the underlying tech stack is heavily used and relied upon it can ever go down in value.
Only the opposite, it will only go heavily valued into the future.
Despite it's known current shortcomings, it will keep getting valued enormously by existing holders, builders and investors.
ETH is truely poised to become the smart currency of the future second to BTC.
That doesn't mean it will be in dominating position always, I think it is a marathon and over decades, if crypto and currencies/money concept in the existence of super intelligent AIs still sustains as it is today we will keep seeing newer better cryptos pumping surpassing ETH's value, and then possibly fading back into non-existence in next bull/bear cycles.
I do hope I get to keep the value gained and not lost due to random F ups I keep doing over time.
