Usé una estrategia interesante con Avina of the Wolf & Aves Sturgis en una batalla con Heavy Metal y Explosive Weaponry [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Vida. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná alto y con las reglas “Heavy Metal” y “Explosive Weaponry”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Brawl de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Vida, el invocador Avina of the Wolf y a las unidades Chain Golem, Corsair Bosun, Evelyn Auvera, Aves Sturgis, Clockwork Aide y Uraeus para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 40 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Sin embargo, es importante definir una estrategia para aprovechar el maná restante de la mejor manera.

Heavy Metal es una regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades que posean puntos de armadura en la batalla. Por otra parte, Explosive Weaponry, otorga la habilidad “Blast” a todas las unidades.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Vida, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque Melee y Mágico. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Void”, “Shield”, “Reach”, “Deflect”, “Weapons Training”, “Swiftness”, “Sneak”, entre otras, y con un invocador que puede otorgar la habilidad “Tank Heal” a una unidad o incrementar en 2 puntos la velocidad de dos unidades, todo esto a través de las tácticas de invocadores.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de ataque. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al invocador Avina of the Wolf, ya que puede otorgar la habilidad “Tank Heal” a una unidad o incrementar en 2 puntos la velocidad de dos unidades, todo esto a través de las tácticas de invocadores.

Chain Golem actuó como tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas sus puntos de armadura, ataque y vida. También posee las habilidades “Void” y “Shield” que le permiten resistir más los ataques enemigos.

Corsair Bosun es una unidad clave en la estrategia, ya que mediante su habilidad “Deflect” protege al resto del equipo de los efectos del “Blast”. Además, contribuye considerablemente para debilitar al enemigo, ya que cuenta con un elevado ataque melee.

Evelyn Auvera y Clockwork Aide pueden contribuir con la ofensiva del equipo gracias al ataque mágico que les otorga Aves Sturgis, a través de la habilidad “Weapons Training”. Por otra parte, es importante mencionar que Clockwork Aide también otorga cierta ventaja al equipo, incrementando en 1 punto su velocidad.

Finalmente, pero no menos importante, Uraeus se encarga de debilitar a las unidades enemigas en las últimas posiciones, a través de la habilidad “Sneak”.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Avina of the Wolf y a las unidades Chain Golem, Corsair Bosun, Evelyn Auvera, Aves Sturgis, Clockwork Aide y Uraeus, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 26 de la ronda 2, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Chain Golem resistió lo suficiente para dar tiempo al resto del equipo para debilitar al enemigo. Luego de ello, Corsair Bosun asumió el frente. Por otra parte, es importante destacar que la contribución de Aves Sturgis, Evelyn Auvera y Clockwork Aide fue clave para debilitar al enemigo, al igual que la de Uraeus.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques melee y mágicos e incluya habilidades como: “Void”, “Phase”, “Shield”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Tank Heal”, “Thorns”, “Demoralize”, “Silence”, “Retaliate”, “Magic Reflect”, “Amplify”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con el soporte suficiente para resistir los ataques de mi ofensiva.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Brawl battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I used the Splinter of Life, the summoner Avina of the Wolf and the units Chain Golem, Corsair Bosun, Evelyn Auvera, Aves Sturgis, Clockwork Aide and Uraeus to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Chain Golem acted as a tank this time, as it has good stats, including armor, attack and life points. He also has the “Void” and “Shield” abilities that allow him to resist enemy attacks more.

Corsair Bosun is a key unit in the strategy, since his “Deflect” ability protects the rest of the team from the effects of the “Blast”. In addition, he contributes considerably to weaken the enemy, as he has a high melee attack.

Evelyn Auvera and Clockwork Aide can contribute to the team's offense thanks to the magic attack granted by Aves Sturgis, through the “Weapons Training” skill. On the other hand, it is important to mention that Clockwork Aide also grants a certain advantage to the team, increasing its speed by 1 point.

Last but not least, Uraeus is in charge of weakening the enemy units in the last positions, through the “Sneak” skill.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Avina of the Wolf and the units Chain Golem, Corsair Bosun, Evelyn Auvera, Aves Sturgis, Clockwork Aide and Uraeus was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 26 of round 2, the enemy team was almost down. Chain Golem held out long enough to give the rest of the team time to weaken the enemy. After that, Corsair Bosun took over the front. On the other hand, it is important to note that the contribution of Aves Sturgis, Evelyn Auvera and Clockwork Aide was key to weaken the enemy, as well as that of Uraeus.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and coherence with the present rule set.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
