¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Muerte. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná bajo y con las reglas “Need for Speed” y “Back to Basics”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les mostraré cómo afronté una batalla de Brawl de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Muerte, el archon Thaddius Brood y a las unidades Wily Coyotian, Pelacor Deceiver, Life Sapper y Soul Strangler para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 16 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir archons con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Sin embargo, es importante tener una estrategia bien definida para aprovechar los puntos restantes en la elección de las unidades adecuadas.

Need for Speed, es un regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades con 3 puntos de velocidad o más. Por otra parte, Armored Up, incrementa en 2 puntos la armadura del equipo. Mientras que, Back to Basics, elimina las habilidades de todas las unidades.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Muerte, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque melee, ranged y mágico. También cuenta con un anchor que disminuye en 1 punto la vida y ataque mágico del equipo enemigo.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de ataque. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al archon Thaddius Brood, ya que disminuye en 1 punto la vida y el ataque mágico del equipo.

Wily Coyotian fue el tanque temporalmente en esta oportunidad. Lo hizo con la finalidad de darle tiempo al resto del equipo de recibir menos daño y debilitar al enemigo.

De esta manera, Pelacor Deceiver pasaría a la primera posición sin recibir todo el daño inicial y, con la ventaja que el equipo enemigo ya estaría debilitado.

Porqué Life Sapper y Soul Strangler, se encargarían de hacerlo a través de sus ataques mágico y ranged, respectivamente.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al archon Thaddius Brood y a las unidades Wily Coyotian, Pelacor Deceiver, Life Sapper y Soul Strangler, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 3 de la ronda 2, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Wily Coyotian y Pelacor Deceiver manejaron muy bien sus roles en las primeras posiciones. Mientras que, Life Sapper y Soul Strangler actuaron de acuerdo a lo esperado con el propósito de debilitar al enemigo.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques melee, ranged y mágicos e incluya habilidades como: “Shield”, “Void”, “Phase”, “Tank Heal”, “Heal”, “Triage”, “Amplify”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Silence”, “Demoralize”, “Headwinds”, “Return Fire”, “Magic Reflect”, “Thorns”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con las habilidades de soporte ni la resistencia suficiente para aguantar el daño de mi ofensiva.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Greetings, community! In this week's challenge, I want to share with you an analysis of my experience using a strategy with Death Splinter. This time, I'll show you how I approached a Silver league Brawl battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I used Death Splinter, Archon Thaddius Brood, and the units Wily Coyotian, Pelacor Deceiver, Life Sapper, and Soul Strangler to be consistent with the battle rules and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage of the game with the proposed strategy.

These aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in battle. This is the starting point for the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice for facing battle.

The mana limit is 16 points, which allows us to choose archons with a mana cost between 4 and 7 points. However, it is important to have a well-defined strategy to take advantage of the remaining points when choosing the right units.

Wily Coyotian was the temporary tank on this occasion. He did this in order to give the rest of the team time to take less damage and weaken the enemy.

This way, Pelacor Deceiver would move into first position without taking all the initial damage and with the advantage that the enemy team would already be weakened.

Life Sapper and Soul Strangler would take care of this with their magic and ranged attacks, respectively.

As I mentioned earlier, choosing Archon Thaddius Brood and the Wily Coyotian, Pelacor Deceiver, Life Sapper, and Soul Strangler units was a good choice. However, it's also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to withstand enough damage.

Notice how by turn 3 of round 2, the enemy team was almost defeated. Wily Coyotian and Pelacor Deceiver handled their roles very well in the front lines. Meanwhile, Life Sapper and Soul Strangler performed as expected with the aim of weakening the enemy.

The proposed strategy made efficient use of the available mana, covering aspects such as resistance to enemy damage, team support, a strong offense, and consistency with the current set of rules.

One weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance to melee, ranged, and magic attacks and includes abilities such as: “Shield,” “Void,” “Phase,” “Tank Heal,” “Heal,” “Triage,” “Amplify,” “Protect,” “Repair,” “Silence,” “Demoralize,” “Headwinds,” “Return Fire,” “Magic Reflect,” “Thorns,” among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have the support skills or sufficient resistance to withstand the damage from my offense.

For our strategies to work properly, it is important to consider all aspects involved, so we must not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of rule sets on strategy.
