¡No uses a Owlkin Geodesist de esta forma en batallas con Wands Out! [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia combinando a los Splinters Dragón y Vida. La cual no considero una buena opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná medio y con la regla “Wands Out”. Ya que en esta ocasión, no tuve éxito aplicando la misma. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo combiné a los Splinters Dragón y Vida, al anchor Helios Matriarch y a las unidades Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova, Captain Katie, Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest y Owlkin Geodesist para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 47 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir anchors con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Dejándonos con una cantidad de maná restante suficiente para elegir unidades fuertes.

Wands Out es una regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades mágicas en la batalla.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí combinar a los Splinters Dragón y Vida, ya que cuentan con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque mágico. También cuentan con habilidades como: “Strengthen”, “Bloodlust”, ”Snipe” , “Divine Shield”, “Execute”, entre otras y con un anchor que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo, y permite utilizar una unidad de tipo Gladius en la batalla.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso del ataque mágico. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al anchor Helios Matriarch, ya que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo, y permite utilizar una unidad de tipo Gladius en la batalla.

Magi of Chaos y Djinn Renova estuvieron en las primeras posiciones en esta oportunidad. Ya que cuentan con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de vida, velocidad y ataque mágico.

Captain Katie se enfocó en debilitar a la segunda línea enemiga a través de la habilidad “Snipe”. Además, es importante mencionar que cuenta con el potencial de incrementar considerablemente sus estadísticas a través de la habilidad “Bloodlust”.

Aves Sturgis y Temple Priest contribuyeron a debilitar al tanque enemigo mediante sus ataques mágicos.

Owlkin Geodesist ocupó esta posición con la finalidad de dar el golpe de gracia a las unidades enemigas a través de la habilidad “Execute”. Una vez éstas estuvieran lo suficientemente debilitadas. Sin embargo, el resultado de este planteamiento fue muy diferente a lo que se esperaba.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al anchor Helios Matriarch y a las unidades Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova, Captain Katie, Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest y Owlkin Geodesist, no fue una buena opción en esta oportunidad. Por cierto, recuerden que también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 3 de la ronda 3, mi equipo estaba casi abatido. Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova y Captain Katie no pudieron resistir lo suficiente en sus posiciones para debilitar al enemigo. Por lo que luego, les tocó a Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest y Owlkin Geodesist pasar a las primeras posiciones y ser derrotados…

La estrategia planteada no cubrió aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo y soporte del equipo.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo contaba con las habilidades de soporte suficientes, y la capacidad de resistencia de mi equipo no era muy elevada.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I combined the Splinters Dragon and Life, the anchor Helios Matriarch and the units Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova, Captain Katie, Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest and Owlkin Geodesist to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the proposed strategy.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Magi of Chaos and Djinn Renova were in the first positions this time. Since they have good stats, among them, their life points, speed and magic attack.

Captain Katie focused on weakening the enemy second line through the “Snipe” skill. In addition, it is important to mention that she has the potential to considerably increase her stats through the “Bloodlust” skill.

Aves Sturgis and Temple Priest contributed to weaken the enemy tank through their magic attacks.

Owlkin Geodesist occupied this position in order to deliver the coup de grace to the enemy units through the “Execute” skill. Once they were sufficiently weakened. However, the result of this approach was very different from what was expected.

As I mentioned before, choosing the anchor Helios Matriarch and the units Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova, Captain Katie, Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest and Owlkin Geodesist, was not a good choice this time. By the way, remember that it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.
Note how by turn 3 of round 3, my team was almost down. Magi of Chaos, Djinn Renova and Captain Katie could not resist enough in their positions to weaken the enemy. So then, it was the turn of Aves Sturgis, Temple Priest and Owlkin Geodesist to move to the first positions and be defeated...

The strategy I proposed did not cover aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage and team support.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team had sufficient support skills, and the resistance capacity of my team was not very high.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the stats and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
