Djinn Oshannus y Nerissa Tridawn dominaron una batalla con Wands Out y Fog of War [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Agua. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná bajo y con las reglas “Wands Out” y “Fog of War”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les mostraré cómo afronté una batalla de Brawl de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Agua, el anchor Kelya Frendul y a las unidades Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Musa Saline y Spirit Hoarder para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 26 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir anchors con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Sin embargo, es importante tener una estrategia bien definida para elegir a las unidades adecuadas con el maná restante.

Fog of War es una regla que elimina las habilidades “Snipe”, “Sneak” y “Opportunity” en la batalla. Por otra parte, Wands Out, sólo permite utilizar unidades mágicas en la batalla. Mientras que, Tis But Scratches, otorga la habilidad “Cripple” a todas las unidades.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Agua, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque mágico. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Void”, “Phase”, “Scavenger”, “Triage”, entre otras y con un anchor que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad y armadura de nuestro equipo.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso del tipo de ataque mágico. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al anchor Kelya Frendul, ya que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad y armadura de nuestro equipo.

Djinn Oshannus actuó como tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de vida, ataque mágico y velocidad. También posee las habilidades “Void” y “Phase”, las cuales le permiten resistir un poco más el daño mágico enemigo.

Nerissa Tridawn ocupó la segunda posición, contribuyendo con su elevado daño mágico y dispuesta a proteger al equipo en el caso que el tanque sea abatido.

Musa Saline además de contribuir con su daño mágico, tiene el propósito de incrementar sus puntos de vida todo lo posible a través de la habilidad “Scavenger”. De esta forma, si le toca llegar a la primera posición, podrá resistir un poco más.

Por último, Spirit Hoarder otorga soporte a la segunda línea de nuestro equipo a través de la habilidad “Triage”. Esto fue clave en la batalla.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al anchor Kelya Frendul y a las unidades Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Musa Saline y Spirit Hoarder, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 7 de la ronda 3, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Djinn Oshannus y Nerissa Tridawn resistieron muy bien en sus posiciones, y el soporte de Spirit Hoarder fue clave para Nerissa y Musa Saline.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques mágicos, e incluya habilidades como: “Void”, “Phase”, “Tank Heal”, “Heal”, “Triage”, “Silence”, “Magic Reflect”, “Amplify”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con las habilidades de soporte suficientes, y la resistencia de las unidades en la segunda línea no era muy alta.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

This time, I'll show you how I approached a Silver league Brawl battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I used Water Splinter, anchor Kelya Frendul, and the units Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Musa Saline, and Spirit Hoarder to be consistent with the battle rules and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to gain an advantage in the game with the proposed strategy.

These aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in battle. This is the starting point for the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice for facing battle.

The mana limit is 26 points, which allows us to choose anchors with a mana cost between 4 and 7 points. However, it is important to have a well-defined strategy for choosing the right units with the remaining mana.

Let's talk about the team and the strategy it forms. Given the circumstances, it was obvious that a magical attack would be used. That's why I decided to use anchor Kelya Frendul, as she increases our team's speed and armor by 1 point.

Djinn Oshannus acted as a tank this time, as he has good stats, including health, magic attack, and speed. He also has the “Void” and “Phase” abilities, which allow him to withstand enemy magic damage a little longer.

Nerissa Tridawn took second place, contributing her high magic damage and ready to protect the team in case the tank is taken down.

Musa Saline, in addition to contributing her magic damage, aims to increase her health points as much as possible through the “Scavenger” skill. This way, if she has to take the first position, she will be able to resist a little longer.

Finally, Spirit Hoarder provides support to our team's second line through the “Triage” skill. This was key in the battle.

As I mentioned earlier, choosing anchor Kelya Frendul and units Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Musa Saline, and Spirit Hoarder was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to withstand enough damage.

Notice how by turn 7 of round 3, the enemy team was almost defeated. Djinn Oshannus and Nerissa Tridawn held their positions very well, and Spirit Hoarder's support was key for Nerissa and Musa Saline.

The proposed strategy made efficient use of the available mana, covering aspects such as: resistance to enemy damage, team support, a good offense, and consistency with the current set of rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance to magical attacks and includes abilities such as: “Void,” “Phase,” “Tank Heal,” “Heal,” “Triage,” “Silence,” “Magic Reflect,” “Amplify,” among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have sufficient support abilities, and the resistance of the units in the second line was not very high.

For our strategies to work properly, it is important to consider all aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and abilities to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
