Dhampir Stalker y Liza Fox dominaron una batalla con Four’s a Crow y Back to Basics [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Muerte. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná alto y con las reglas “Four’s a Crowd” y “Back to Basics”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Muerte, al anchor Thaddius Brood y a las unidades Cursed Windeku, Usut, Dhampir Stalker y Liza Fox para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 45 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir anchors con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Dejándonos con una cantidad de maná restante suficiente para elegir a las unidades adecuadas.

Four’s a Crowd es una regla que sólo permite utilizar 4 unidades en la batalla. Mientras que, Back to Basics, elimina las habilidades de todas las unidades. Y finalmente, Weak Magic, ocasiona que los ataques mágicos primero golpeen a la armadura antes que la vida.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Muerte, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque mágico y ranged. También cuenta con un anchor que reduce en 1 punto la vida y el ataque mágico del equipo enemigo.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de ataque. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al anchor Thaddius Brood, ya que reduce en 1 punto la vida y el ataque mágico del equipo enemigo.

Como en esta oportunidad las unidades no contaban con habilidades, decidí utilizar a Cursed Windeku como tanque, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de vida y velocidad. Las cuales le permiten resistir lo suficiente para dar tiempo al resto del equipo de debilitar al enemigo.

Usut cumple un propósito similar al de Windeku pero desde la segunda posición. Ya que también cuenta con buenas estadísticas y ataque mágico.

Dhampir Stalker y Liza Fox son las unidades clave de la estrategia, ya que en conjunto hacen un daño considerable al enemigo. Es importante destacar que sus puntos de velocidad hacen la diferencia para que sus ataques se aprovechen lo mejor posible.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al anchor Thaddius Brood y a las unidades Cursed Windeku, Usut, Dhampir Stalker y Liza Fox, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente. Cabe destacar que en estas circunstancias, las habilidades serían las otorgadas por los anchors.

Observen como para el turno 6 de la ronda 2, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Cursed Windeku y Usut actuaron como se esperaba en sus posiciones. De igual manera lo hicieron Dhampir Stalker y Liza Fox, sus ataques en conjunto fueron la clave para derrotar al enemigo.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques ranged, e incluya habilidades como: “Shield”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Headwinds”, “Return Fire”, “Amplify”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con la resistencia necesaria para soportar los ataques de mi ofensiva.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to share with you an analysis of my experience using a strategy with the Death Splinter. In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I used the Death Splinter, the anchor Thaddius Brood and the units Cursed Windeku, Usut, Dhampir Stalker and Liza Fox to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the proposed strategy.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 45 points, this amount allows us to choose anchors with a mana cost between 4 and 7 points. Leaving us with a sufficient amount of remaining mana to choose the right units.
Four's a Crowd is a rule that only allows us to use 4 units in battle. While, Back to Basics, eliminates the abilities of all units. And finally, Weak Magic, causes magic attacks to first hit armor before life.

So, taking into account all these aspects, I decided to use the Death Splinter, since it has units that have good stats, among them, a good magic attack and ranged. It also has an anchor that reduces the life and magic attack of the enemy team by 1 point.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any kind of attack. That is why I decided to use the anchor Thaddius Brood, since it reduces the enemy team's life and magic attack by 1 point.

Since this time the units did not have abilities, I decided to use Cursed Windeku as a tank, since he has good stats, among them, his life points and speed. These allow him to resist long enough to give the rest of the team time to weaken the enemy.

Usut fulfills a similar purpose to Windeku but from the second position. He also has good stats and magic attack.

Dhampir Stalker and Liza Fox are the key units of the strategy, since together they do considerable damage to the enemy. It is important to note that their speed points make the difference so that their attacks are used to their best advantage.

As I mentioned before, choosing the anchor Thaddius Brood and the units Cursed Windeku, Usut, Dhampir Stalker and Liza Fox was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist sufficiently. It should be noted that in these circumstances, the skills would be those granted by the anchors.

Note how by turn 6 of round 2, the enemy team was almost down. Cursed Windeku and Usut acted as expected in their positions. So did Dhampir Stalker and Liza Fox, their joint attacks were the key to defeat the enemy.

The strategy proposed made an efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, a good offensive, and coherence with the present set of rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance to ranged attacks, and includes abilities such as: “Shield”, “Protect”, “Repair”, ‘Headwinds’, “Return Fire”, “Amplify”, among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have the necessary resistance to withstand the attacks of my offensive.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
