Abuse Report - An 80+ rep account neck deep in Multi-account and Farming Abuse (@alokkumar121)

(Edited)

I don't know how to start this one. So, I will begin from the start. But before starting, I would appeal that you read the post entirely before making your own conclusions.

The devil is in the details.

@alokkumar121 joined Steemit on 22nd June 2018 and posted his first post a few days later. He went on to introduce himself a couple of weeks after that. Here is his intro post if someone is curious.

He would share posts on a variety of things, ranging from photography posts to crypto news.

He later discovered Actifit and started writing Actifit reports in late November 2018. This is an important part of this story. He becomes an Actifit moderator in only a month or so.

He became so active that he consistently published 3–5 posts daily. There's nothing wrong so far, a lot of Steemians were doing the same around that time.

He onboarded his wife to the blockchain. Meet @reeta0119, she joined on 12th March 2019 and published her introduction post on the same day. Here is the most important section from that intro post.

My name is Reeta and I am from India. I got to know about steemit through @alokkumar121 and after few months of his convinced approach I finally decided to be a part of this amazing steem world.

I have been listening a lot about steem through my husband (alok) since many months and he also wanted me to join it. I said yes to him finally few days back.

She would post only Actifit reports for a couple of months. Most of these 'reports' would be just a couple of sentences with an activity counter so you can get AFIT tokens and their upvotes. And with her husband being an actifit moderator and curator (also, with how Actifit worked), she would always be guaranteed an upvote from Actifit. That's still fine in my books.

Now, a 'friend' of @alokkumar121 joins Steemit on 25th May 2019 (a couple of months after Reeta). This friend is @mukund123 and shared his introduction post a few later later.

I joined Steem platform after invite of my friend @alokkumar121 and I just love actifit app. I had never thought of that such kind of app even exit. Though I am not much tech-savvy but eager to learn all these things. My friend Alok explained me about steem and actifit and since the day I joined, I work on it daily and post regularly.

This account would start posting Actifit reports just like Reeta's account.

I will show you how @alokkumar121 is using the other two accounts to milk rewards from Hive and how these accounts are run by him. One of the best methods to prove if the account is just run by one individual is to analyze their writing style, Markdown syntax and HTML tags usages along with common grammatical errors that are unique to them.

Use of ** ** for a horizontal line

Most of us already know that you can do a horizontal line on your post by either using <hr> (HTML formatting tag) or by using one of the ---, *** or ___ (Markdown formatting)

These markdown methods work with more than three dash or asterisks too. And weirdly enough it somehow works if you do ** **. I tested them in peakd editor and they work.

Now, will you agree that using ** ** (space between two asterisks on both sides) instead of *** (three asterisks without space) is not the standard and a very weird mistake. One can make this mistake once in a while. But imagine all three accounts making the same mistakes for months in multiple posts?

I will share some examples here. More can be found if you look at their old posts.

https://peakd.com/post/@mukund123/my-intro-to-leofinance-family-newlionhttps://peakd.com/post/@mukund123/more-excitement-in-splinterlands-this-september

Just a coincidence? Each other copying their mistakes and then all fixed those mistakes after some time and never repeating them?

By further examining the writing style and small quirks in their writing you will see how the author of all three accounts is same.

Use of .. (two dots) instead of ... (three dots/ellipsis)

I thought ChatGPT will do a better job of explaining this mistake.

But our guy @alokkumar121 picked up this mistake from somewhere and used two dots instead of three dots. Maybe that is how he learned it and once you learn something and it becomes a habit, it is quite tough to fix it and relearn it. I don't blame him for this mistake because English is not his first language. But how many people you seen making the same mistakes, maybe some? But what are the chances that all three accounts are doing the same mistake for years now?

Let me share some of the examples here. Feel free to search the blockchain and you will find more examples of the same. Also, I am suspecting they are using some sort of grammar checker like Grammarly or web extension to write posts because there is a significant difference in grammar and punctuation among their posts and comments.

image.png

I couldn't find the discord account of @mukund123, didn't look hard enough. But the others were consistent with this mistake even on discord.

Similar Thumbnails and Interests in similar communities

This one is quite interesting and once you see it you can't unsee it. He has been using a similar style of thumbnails for most of his posts, especially posts which are 3 to 1-year-old. Now, he is trying to make it a bit different, but this blockchain remembers everything.

Can you notice the similarities? A background color, with a few icons in the middle and a title on top (or bottom of it). He did the bare minimum to make them unique like changing background colors, fonts and placement of some icons. How did people not see this? It's like he didn't even try to hide it.

He got in trouble because of how similar these accounts were and someone suspected him of running both the accounts. More on that story later.

Other similar grammar and punctuation mistakes

Alokkumar's grip on written English made it a bit easier for me. Now, look at this weird . thanks part which all of them use and the use of lowercase words after a full stop. This is much more common mistake than the rest of the above though.

Are you convinced that the author of all three accounts is the same? These were the hard
evidence, now we can look at things a bit more on a personal level.

So, are you keeping up with the info? Can you tell me how @alokkumar121 and @reeta0119 are connected? They are a married couple.

And how are @alokkumar121 and @mukund123 connected? They are 'friends'.

Now, I will use some pictures. Usually it's not my style but I want to make the case even stronger (and I put too much effort into it already, so not sharing it here would be a waste of lot of hours... also I am using the photos/videos shared on the blockchain and they are publically available)

Alokkumar121 - Posted 2 years agoMukund123 - Posted 5 years ago

Can you see any similarities in these 'friends'? Any similar features? Lips? Nose? Jaw and Cheeks? At worst, they are brothers.

(My assumption is Mukund is Alokkumar's brother if not him and made this account just to get the Actifit rewards but then shifted to his regular content to get more rewards.)

Also, is this how you talk to one of your friends/brother?

How are you this formal with your friend/brother? No way I am talking in a foreign language to my brother and thanking him for anything.

Even more hysterical is how he talks to his wife or how he talks about her to someone else. Let me show you examples of both.

“I also play this game”

If he is your husband, doesn't he know that already? The entire conversation is very formal and they are pretending that they don't know each other just like the conversation between Alok and Mukund.

A user got suspicious of @alokkumar121 and @reeta0119 account and had an argument on the chain. Here is one of their conversation.

There are a lot of comments so let me summarize it for you. @wlffreitas is claiming that Alok is having a second account Reeta and Alok is trying to defend it. @wlffreitas asks Alok why they both are writing on the same topic and rather than saying that she is his wife and she will write on similar topics. Alok claims that there are a lot of Indians that write about similar things. There are some talks about Downvotes too and he replied to that comment like this-

If you are concerned about her then go and talk to her. if she is getting DV then its not my problem.

And

Is this how you talk about your wife?

Anyway, just three days after this conversation, @reeta0119 shared her 'first' 3speak video (she claims in the intro of the video). Very convenient.

This is her video taken from this post.

Well, the video looks forced. She reads a couple of sentences from a script (you can figure it out by looking closely at her eyes) and the middle part is just showing a random video of a river. And just before the closing of the video we see a thumbs up just like the start.

Let's analyze this video in more detail. Look at her hand carefully around 0:13 seconds.

She is wearing a red nail paint, not a fresh coat but enough so you can see it. Now, if you see her thumb with nail paint, it is almost a guarantee that she will have painted the other fingers too.

Now if you go to the end of the video, you will see another hand. But notice that there is no nail paint on this hand and it even looks different from the other one. On top of it, there is no face, hair or anything else visible at the end.

Now, tell me. Are they the same hand? Why she felt the need to upload her first 3speak video right after that conversation? This is a classic case of a husband recording his wife to gain a few extra bucks. Such a cheap act to earn money. Not only the wife, he used his kids too. There are some splinterlands art contest posts where you can see a small child’s hand drawing the artwork.

Now, what do you think about how many times @reeta0119 said 'Alok' (the name of her husband) on this blockchain? Well, she said it 6 years ago in her intro post and NEVER again! And how many times does she mention him? A total of 29 times only! Sounds like a lot but keep in mind she has been on this blockchain for 6 years now and wrote more than 3000 posts and double the number of comments. Surprisingly the last time she mentioned him was 5 years ago!

Is this normal? You would think that she is not making personal blogs but you are wrong. She makes a lot of personal blogs. A lot of blogs with her kids and her family but the only person missing from those posts is her husband, Alok.

Why would you do that unless you are deliberately trying to hide something. I went through hundreds of her posts and her YouTube channel. You can see her kids and family in like 100s of posts but not Alokkumaar, at least not in the post where I looked up. I didn't have the time to check all the thousands of posts one by one. But this is quite shocking already.

Also, @alokkumar121 mentioned his wife only 43 times (most of them are just tagging to participate in giveaways or something) out of 5000+ posts and 50,000+ comments he made. That is not normal, especially when both of them are so active and post in the same communities.

Also, most of the photos that she shares on her account are taken by someone else, not from her phone. You can see in the next shot, that she shared this photo instead of the photo of the sunset that she took from her own mobile. Why would you do that?

Circle Jerking and bad curation practices

Many were surprised when they found out this big account was part of a backscratcher trail. But this was not the first time he was engaging with these bad practices.

Alok and Reeta used the project Hope to their advantage and abused the bid bots back in Steemit days. Maybe it was a different time, so we will give them the benefit of doubt. But even on the Hive blockchain they were blacklisted a couple of times by @hivewatchers for being part of such circle voting schemes.

I agree with @hivewatchers statement that the high reputation has been acquired mostly by farming these trails and engaging in different schemes.

And keep in mind that both @alokkumar121 and @retta0119's accounts did these shady practices. Also, being part of Splinterlands curation team, @reeta0119 was almost upvoted the maximum percentage most of the time by @steemmonsters and they milked a lot from this project alone. Besides, they got regular upvotes from @leo.voter (I am not sure if Alok is part of the curation team or knows someone who is a curator there).

Apart from the occasional circle jerking and suspicious trails, he has a weird 'curation policy' of his own. The voting percentage of his votes depends on how big the author's upvote value is. If you are in 10K–20K HP range you would get somewhere like 10%-30% upvotes. If you are an orca or whale you will get 50%-100% of his upvote. He does it to 'maximize' the potential upvote he can get back (turns out if you keep upvoting a big account regularly with a good enough upvote, they will likely notice you and put you on auto vote or something. Even if they don't, you can try this strategy with another big account).

Top 10 Monthly Voting stats - @alokkumar121Top 10 Monthly Voting stats - @reeta0119

You will always find him upvoting the same bunch of people and never upvoting for newer or smaller accounts. How greedy a person can get?

Let's go back to @acidyo's comment which almost busted him but somehow he escaped or he was too 'big' to be pursued by other accounts?

Under that comment @wlffreitas and @dlmmqb added a few posts that were on similar topics. That was some lazy work from @alokkumar121.

Here you can see those posts.

But did you think this was all? There are more accounts this guy runs.

Meet @shriram19, @reeta.fit and @prefix

@reeta.fit and @prefix are posting just actifit content. Both have the same memo as @mukund123 and have the similar writing style. These accounts don't have intro posts.

Let me show you a clear link of all these accounts.

Common memo with @reeta0119Common memo with @shriram19

@shriram19 is an important one that we need to look closely. Just like @reeta0119 and @mukund123, this account was introduced by @alokkumar121, started his blogs with Actifit posts, wrote some posts in Hindi and then one day magically switched to English with good crypto knowledge and splinterlands. (All these can be curated by @alokkumar121 easily).

similar content with similar thumbnails, topics, community etc.Just like @reeta0119 and @mukund123, they started in Hindi actifit reports

I found this account while I was writing this post. Because there is no common memo between them, they never interact with each other. But @reeta0119 upvotes this account. That raised my eyebrows, because this greedy person rarely upvotes someone with low HP numbers. When I saw the accounts, everything was clear.

He claims to be someone else and shared a selfie of a person. That's the only photo this account shared, multiple times on different occasions. Here is the introduction post of @shriram19

When you look at the post in its raw form, you will see the selfie is a screenshot. Why would someone upload a screenshot of a selfie? My guess is this was taken from a profile picture in web2 social media like Facebook or Instagram.

Other writing patterns like the unique punctuation mistakes etc. were the same in this account as well.

There is another connection which connects all these accounts and that is transferring funds to one account.

Alok created an account last year which facilitates the exchange of Crypto to/from local currency. This makes a lot of sense on the surface as crypto is taken seriously in India and centralized exchanges are hand in hand with the government. So, many people would prefer p2p exchanges or crypto transactions. @cryptoswap is the account's username.

But this became a tool for getting all the funds from his other accounts along with some genuine accounts so the connection cannot be established. Clever whitewashing attempt if you ask me.

I just want to make it clear that I am not accusing any other accounts other than I mentioned here.

Let me show you the transactions to @cryptoswap account along with blocktrades accounts which have common memos.-

ReetaMukundShriram
Reeta.fitPrefix

You would be wondering how one person can be active in multiple accounts. But let me tell you most of the posts are about splinterlands, or random tokens. How much time it takes to talk about how much SPS you staked and why you think it is the next big thing, and what is your target? I suspect it would take no more than 20 minutes, especially for someone who has been writing similar posts for more than 5 years.

A breakdown of the time would be something like this… (It might be a bit subjective but I am basing it on their interaction and posts that I can see on the blockchain)

AccountType of ContentTime it takes to write a postTime it takes for commentingPosting frequency
@prefixOnly Actifit Reports5 mins0 mins (No comments)Daily
@reeeta.fitOnly Actifit Reports5 mins0 mins (No comments)Daily
@shriram19Splinterlands, Crypto News20 mins1 min (1 comment a day)3-5 posts per week
@mukund123Splinterlands, Crypto News20 mins0 mins (not commenting anymore)1-2 per month
@reeta0119Splinterlands, Crypto News, occasionally travel/personal blogs,20-25 mins5–10 mins (4-5 threads/comments daily)Daily
@alokkumar121Splinterlands, Crypto News20 mins20 mins (mostly for curation jobs)Daily

So, the total time would be around two hours. Even if you add another hours or two into it. It will still be four hours per day which is easily doable, especially for the amount of money he is earning from all these accounts.

Let me clarify that it is perfectly fine to have multiple accounts but having those accounts to write posts (mostly shit posts) and hiding identity of those accounts or worse, making a new identity, and exploiting your wife (and kids, you can see them in YouTube videos too) to earn money is wrong on so many levels. You have been deceiving the entire community for years now.

Also, he made twitter accounts of @reeta0119 and @mukund123 after they created their Steem account. He also verified @reeta0119's account through twitter verification after he thought he might get in trouble with @hivewatchers.

I am omitting some more details here, I think the post is already an overkill and a long read. Don't want to waste more time of the readers. But in case, someone wants more details or explanation about specific things related to these account, just tell it in the comments.

Don't take my word for it and look it up for yourself, I have shared a lot of links already. So, this will be a good place to start your own research. You will end up with the same conclusion as mine. I have already spent over 100 hours researching into all these accounts and it took me weeks to write this post due to my busy schedule. But still there are chances that I missed some more accounts linked with them. Let me know in the comments if you have any more info on this case.

Also, thanks to @wlffreitas work too. It helped me in this case. I hope people would be less interested to know my identity unlike the last post. And Btw, @iskawrites @sabrinah ... I am not @b0s or @wlffreitas or any other person you claim to be, nor I am part of Hive watchers. (I suggest you seek medical help).

I will tag some influential community members or people who might be interested in this. Hive should know about this big ongoing abuse.

@hivewatchers @leofinance @leo.voter @splinterlands @actifit @livinguktaiwan @nathan007 @azircon @stoodkev @solominer @yabapmatt @indiaunited @bhattg @bala41288 @ecency @dlmmqb @chaosmagic23 @acidyo @rantree @bitcoinman @antisocialist @guiltyparties @libertycrypto27 @nainaztengra @alphahippie @artofadamada

Sorry for the tag spam, but the community should know about this big abuse.

Last but not least, a big thanks to @yaziris for his @hivediscomod bot that make it easier to look up information about accounts. Such an awesome research tool!

@alokkumar121, I don't care if this is true or not but I want you to know that I am proud of you. You understood human psychology. You put yourself through the training. Instead of waiting around like other people I am seeing in the comment section whining about not getting votes as though they were entitled to them, you took matters into your own hands and worked the hearts and minds of the people you came in contact with. You weren't self-absorbed.

You knew you weren't entitled to anything. You came, you learned the few secrets, and then worked them in your favor. You built your own business as it should have been because you knew nothing was handed to anyone in this world.

You are a prodigy. I salute you.

Understand that when someone attacks you, they give you a new purpose. The person who is attacking you right has nothing to do. This person is jealous you could go the extra mile. This person is envious of how much you could accomplish just by learning about human nature and making it work for you. You saw the world through the eyes of the people you met and rooted out any form of insecurity you must have had, then stepped into the spirit of the people you wanted to persuade into liking you, voting for you, giving you attention, giving you access to once inaccessible places.

Forget all these morality stunts, this person wishes in their heart of heart that they could be like you. You should feel proud of yourself too.

As for you @anonyi, are you trying to tell us his wife and friend are so dumb, they can't create their own posts? You are indirectly calling them dumb people.

Again, are you saying he should have acted nice to his wife in the chats so you people will say he is favoring his wife more than anyone else?

Number 3, you mean since they are friends and family, they can't send their Hive power to him so he can help them convert it and he might want to join his own and do the conversion at once? It seems you have forgotten, that the higher the amount of token you are selling, the higher the conversion rates go.

Number 4, are you saying if he found out curation works better in the communities he participated, he shouldn't have encouraged his wife and friend to publish to those communities too? You wanted him to eat and die alone?

Number 5, are you saying, if he had the access to nominate posts for curation, he shouldn't nominate that of his family? What sort a man would he be, if he had power yet it didn't favor the people he claimed to love?

One final thing, that comment only gave the credit to b0s in order to infuriate you. We know he doesn't have the balls to do things. He'd rather hide in discord servers, leaving savage responses to his colleagues who are in there trying to make their lives better by participating. Apart from savage responses, b0s has no use to anyone or himself. Actually, he does have one use, to be used.

At least, now you know how it feels when someone credits another person for something you did. Were you angry? Rattled? The goal had been accomplished if you felt any sort of hatred for your credit going to someone else.

And yes, we are not well. This world needs crazy people. We happen to be one of them. We don't need medical help.

Drum roll: 🥁

The post that talked about iska had the most engagement. Iska is feeling herself. She held that much attention. If e easy run am.

Please, tag to subsequent ones; really want to see the list of people you've been hating for so long, you finally decided to let it all out. Thank you.

Have a great weekend.

Almost forgot. Is it just people thriving in the Inleo community that you are jealous of? How about you try other communities and curation trails for a change?

are you trying to tell us his wife and friend are so dumb, they can't create their own posts?

Read the post again, this time with a bit more attention. I never claimed those alleged friends and wife are too dumb to write their own post. I just showed you how the author of all those posts is one person. For all we know, the author could even be his wife or friend. But only one person.

Again, are you saying he should have acted nice to his wife in the chats so you people will say he is favoring his wife more than anyone else?

At least, he should not pretend he doesn't know her. Never mentioning her even once in the last 5 years while they both had similar interests and posts. That’s pure love!

It seems you have forgotten, that the higher the amount of token you are selling, the higher the conversion rates go.

LOL, really? Are you HIGH too? You are not buying Tomatoes in bulk so you will get the wholesale rate.

Number 4, are you saying if he found out curation works better in the communities he participated, he shouldn't have encouraged his wife and friend to publish to those communities too?

Everyone is free to publish in whatever communities they like. I never said that.

Number 5, are you saying, if he had the access to nominate posts for curation, he shouldn't nominate that of his family?

I think you didn't read the post. There were 4 accounts constantly being curated with multiple projects by him. Maybe everyone should create accounts for their wife, brothers, friends, dogs, and cats and then vote themselves only. You must be new or you forgot the issues with circle voting in Steemit days.

What sort a man would he be, if he had power yet it didn't favor the people he claimed to love?

Some accounts like @prefix and @shriram19 are not his family. They are fake identities just like yours. Perhaps that's why you are so rattled. Keep crying.

And if I wanted credit, I would have written the post with my personal account. Not an anonymous account.

And yes, we are not well. This world needs crazy people. We happen to be one of them. We don't need medical help.

News flash! Crazy people do need medical help. And I hope you find it soon.

People thriving in the inleo community? Most of these accounts are posting regularly in the Splinterlands community too. Perhaps I hate Splinterlands too. But if you know about any other abuse on Hive in any community, let me know. I am happy to help.

P.S. The last person Alokkumar needs right now is an abuser like you.

prefix is only used for actifit reports and I never posted long form content.

To cut this short, I am ok for any verification that @hivewatchers want to do for id verification. Whatever way they suggest I will follow like social media profiles or video calls or may be some other way that they can suggest. @shriram19 is not fake and HW can verify this.

I was waiting for a long post/comment from you addressing all the issues that were raised in the post. Is that all you had to say, which you waited for 2 days?

There have been cases of verification where people verified their family/friends but used those accounts to write content and milk rewards.

If those are real people and real family members/friends which they might be. Why are you writing post for them? (That's why I first tried to prove that the author of all these posts are same).

Identities are not fake. What is fake is the introductions and the activity on these accounts. You basically asked friends and family to verify via their social media so you can publish content on multiple accounts to farm multiple curation trails.

Just out of curiosity, how would you have multiple actifit accounts (and associated step counts) without having multiple devices (which seems unlikely)? Or is it just likely that he convinced friends/family to create accounts and then has access to those devices? Then again, I guess he could have a couple of old phones or something. You wouldn't need actual service to use actifit...

Posts like this won't waste my time. I even prefer the ones that discuss things like this. Even though it's long, everything written here is worth reading to the end.

I can't bash this guy because I usually post about Splinterlands. (I don't want my posts not upvoted when it's his turn to curate)

But when I read about the number of upvotes they received from this person, I was a little enlightened about the problems I (and probably some other users) encountered when receiving upvotes when this person was the curator.

If I'm not mistaken around late 2021 to 2022 (when the HIVE price was not this low), I always got low upvotes from this person (when it was his turn to curate) when participating in the Splinterlands challenge. When it was someone else's turn to curate, I got higher upvotes (about 1.5 - 2 times as much). But when the HIVE price is like today, the number of upvotes I receive is the same (whether from this person or another curator).

I've been trying to think positively. It's possible that my post is less interesting according to his "point of view," so it gets a few upvotes. But when I saw this...

Interestingly, I know a couple of people who said the exact same thing about this account when it comes to curating posts for splinterlands.

And glad to see someone reading the entire post before coming to any conclusions.

This is disappointing. I regularly post about Splinterlands stuff and in inleo. I was wondering why I'm not getting upvotes on inleo while some have been regularly upvoted. Kinda makes sense now.

I could help you in this case as I did with the vote between reeta and alok curated by leo.voter. Where he indicated himself to receive curation, incredibly every organic curation you could find the name of reeta, which ended up being the reason for downvotes at that time. But unfortunately I know that this will come to nothing, as alokkumar121 knows a lot of great people at Hive. It's for these reasons that I'm off this blockchain, I'm even a bit more active on Steemit, it seems that despite what happened, there are still interesting people there.

An important detail that you forgot, or he has simply deleted from his twitter, in the part where I shared about the BNB wallet and BNSD Finance on Twitter was that both had shared and participated in this raffle. In this case, he has been using his wife's "personality" long before HIVE.

I'll just say that nothing will happen, he knows the big whales, just be happy about it.

I don’t understand how someone so full of suspicions always has open doors for project curation, where honesty and fairness should be the bare minimum for anyone in that role. I hope the whales marked here take a look and don’t pretend nothing is happening...

I hope the community will notice and take suitable action. It is really sad to see some great posts getting $1 while a two day old spun news article with minimum effort is consistently getting $30. What a shame! We need better curation standards for sure.

Hi @anonyi
You have shared details and thanks to you for sharing. It's a one side of the story, please allow me sometime and I will answer all your questions that you raised. As far as I am aware then bringing family and friends on hive and coaching them is not a crime. I will be answering all your questions with proper evidence.

As far as I am aware then bringing family and friends on hive and coaching them is not a crime.

If you read the post, you will see what is the issue here.

I will be waiting for your response.

@anonyi I am totally stunned to see read and believe your post. First of all, I salute your incredible effort in putting all that mammoth of information, with 100+ hours of tiresome, laborious and enormous work put together to make one bombastic post worthwhile. I am still in such a big shock. How could you gather all that energy to collate all that from various sources? You definitely got some superpowers.

There is no doubt that there are innumerable duplicate, dubious people and accounts atrociously milking rewards at behest of others, all these people are hand in hand, yet they are not caught. We all know that very well. You catching someone with several similarities is just a tip of the iceberg. The biggest part is still hidden underneath.

Hive is full of scammers, spammers, content stealers, uncaught plagiarism, yet only few get caught or are intentionally left unnoticed. This is the key reason of hive downfall. When Bitcoin is about to touch $100,000, Hive is miserably lingering $0.28. It’s a pathetic state of affairs.

The utter greed to milk rewards by trading upvotes, as a curator or various other forms, has been a constant process since Steemit and farming abuse is now very much a part of Hive. It’s a multi layered scam that rarely gets detected with few very cleverly foolish people unintentionally leaving trails behind. That you caught, but it’s a drop in the ocean. Hive is in total doldrums because of such pathetic activities and only, extremely, very few shrewd people, abundantly milking rewards repeatedly. Freshers, newcomers, or people with little hive power are clueless, irrespective of the fact that some Silly content is getting plenty of known upvotes whereas a creative content is left unacknowledged. Really feel sorry for all such people on hive. Dejected, nothing can be done. This is real reason that several good projects gradually die a slow death.

Hello,

This is an excellent analysis. All these accounts have had very suss activities for years.
This is an overwhelming amount of trade evidence pointing to identity deception and possibly also identity theft.
It is very common for farmers to ask friends/family to create fake introductions and/or verifications via social media so they can farm on multiple accounts (her is some example of the case from last week: "mousomi009" "najidulislam" "sharmin2024" "simmoon09").

The mukund123 account has been on watch for 18 months after some dtube farming was discovered:

Capture5.PNG

X account was suspended for violations.
Identity theft? Fraud?
It takes a lot of effort now to have an account suspended on X since Musk took over it.
That X account was suspended already in February 2023 but the Hive profile has not been updated yet.

Ok. This is strange that you started throwing negative votes on my posts and I believe that you would have enough evidence to prove that I am an abuser in your books.

Is this anonyi from your team that you did not even think the need to chek things properly? Shall I consider what anonyi said in this post is officially agreed by Hivewatcher and team?

I am not sure why you are (@alokkumar121) responding pretending to be Reeta0119. I have checked all the evidence. Except for a few posts that might have been actually created by your wife in the past, 99.99% of posts appear to have been created by you on this account.
The account is a sock puppet. Same as the other like @mukund123.

shriram19 and reeta0119 only participate on the social media challange for spl. Everyone needs to comment the challange post as an entry. There are always over 200+ entries. But shriram19 is always 5-6 comments below reeta0119 🤔. Just coincidence?

Dear @hivewatchers
Looks like you have already concluded on this case without even listening the other part of story. Are you saying that only men can learn technology or Crypto etc?
Everyone use Android smartphones and educated enough to try different applications in day to day life. I play splinterlands game and love playing it. What is wrong with playing this game sir?

@alokkumar121
Considering that both accounts have identical ways of expressing themselves, the same way of writing, identical interests and hobbies, the same topics of posts with the same editing and images, and the same typos and errors in writing, I find it next to impossible that the accounts are run by different people.
I find it very difficult to believe that a busy wife who is looking after family and children can find time spending hours playing Splinterlands, and writing posts about the Hive app, Splinterlands and blockchain.

Capture.PNG

Also, you have engaged in evident identity deception on another account:

Let me try to understand what are you saying

You are saying that my posts and alok's posts are same? I share only one game which is splinterlands game, and personal blogs but do you see the same on alokkumar121's profile? I checked but I can't see. Am I missing something here?

Please you need to look again and it seems your accusation is baseless. I hope that you will not ban me just because I am his wife?

Also please clarify if

Do I copy content?
Do I recycle?

I have also checked Mukund profile and it's completely different. He posted once in a month and you are saying he is alok's account? is this what you're saying?

I am an individual with head on my shoulder so I can learn and write. Why do you think that girls are dumb or I am dumb that I can't even write. You're an expert then why don't you suggest a better way to verify this. This is your core job right? Show some expertise here please.

I would be happy to follow whatever you suggest. Now I ask you- what is the solution or what should I do to make you understand that I am an individual and a living human too.

Waiting for your response

The evidence of identity deception is provided above.

I will not respond to logical fallacies of "appeal to emotion" or "strawman fallacy" (accusing of opinions and having aid something that was never said or expressed in an opinion).

If you're an expert then why don't you suggest a better way to verify this. This is your core job, right? Show some expertise here, please.

OK, I have an idea then.
How about making a call with Reeta and talking about the Splinterlands game?
I used to be a passionate player and Reeta seems to be a passionate player too so we should have a good understanding of everything like tactics, cards etc.

I can do this but it is difficult for me to speak in a call. Whatever I know about splinterlands game, I can also explain it. My primary language is Hindi and I have used translation for posts. You can see in my videos that I can't speak English well. If you agree with this then I am ready.

Really? Are you going to interview her with a topic she asked about? If she understands now that splinterlands, it doesn't mean anything! The post is proof that the same person is publishing in both accounts. You already verified a previous video of this user after a similar accusations, the video was published a couple of days after the accusation... why are you going through the same mistake again?

@hivewatchers

The person you shortlisted, @chinay04, might not be a good candidate for this. I looked at his splinterlands accounts it looked quite noob (even after playing the game for over an year).

Never been to even high bronze and has very low number of cards. Just played 10 battles in the last 24 days.

https://next.splinterlands.com/battle-history?player=chinay04

Also, if you read his splinterlands post you would get he is making some noob mistakes like thinking Poison deals only 1 damage instead of 2. Post link. Even if that is a typo, the way he describes his battles gives me no confidence.

But even if he or someone else is conducting an interview of some sorts, I would appreciate if it was recorded (at least the voice). I have a couple of Hindi speaking friends outside Hive and I used to play Splinterlands. They can translate that conversation in English.

Also, you have engaged in evident identity deception on another account:

Dear @hivewatchers sir/madam, why don't you verify the identity. Did I deny to verify? I am never asked to do any verification.

Also don't you warn users if you see something suspicious?

What process you follow? What is the intent of Hivewatcher team. Is it just to move people away from hive by throwing downvote or help them understand what wrong they did so that they can rectify?

I did not see any warning ever but all of sudden I got adm negative. Adm is your account right?

Exactly my point. Also, even after both of them being this passionate about crypto technology, blockchain etc...they never discuss these in each other's comments.

I suspect most of those battles are done by bots. There are a lot of third party services which battles on your behalf. These tools have been in existence for years now and continue to be there. Here is an example of such bot/tool/service.
