ENGLISH Special Epilogs and Preface to our auction

In recognition of commitment, this time 50 % of the beneficiary rewards of this post go to @sodom-lv. For more see the latest post on Beneficiaries.

This is my first update in six weeks. It's a lot of work every time and even more so when it's so concentrated, but it gives me great pleasure to still maintain this guild all these years. Splinterlands is unfortunately not developing in my favor, but it is still bearable to play the brawls. If it were to develop in my favor, it would be possible to simply play with old cards against random players, even without winning one of the many colorful tokens.

Today I would like to congratulate our long-time player @sodom-lv. You have taken first place in our score table for the first time, congratulations! This spurred me today to delve into the past of our guild and I found some amazing things:

The latter post still shows me today how I had always wished for more interaction. But there was always little interest. There may have been a lot of exchange in ephemeral Discords or perhaps Twitter back then. But I was only interested in Hive. Others were obviously more interested in tokens and less in play. If we just want to play a few games with our own cards, as I mentioned above, we'll probably have to send ourselves individual challenges.

What I also found were reports of the first brawls. That was a lot of fun for me back then. The first brawl where I find the @sodom-lv account is

A good six months later, I find rare exchanges about upgrades to the buildings:

And another six months later, the disruption, when there was a lot of trouble over diverging expectations:

Shortly prior to that, I was still delighted to report with great attention to detail, but the effort was simply too high and there was little to no interest in it:

So I'm all the more pleased when someone new at least writes a word in the chat from time to time. Because, strangely enough, that's rare. There is very little interest in how our guild works, so today I spontaneously wrote a few words in the chat again to hopefully make it appealing. I've got out of the habit of expecting much from it and am all the more pleased when someone stays:

We offer an open spot by removing the last one in our member list with every end of a brawl. That's what we call an auction for our weakest contributor. These days many are passive contributors, so at the time all it needs is 1 GP within three brawls (approx 15 to 18 days). And since there still is a probation timer in our way for contributions directly to our buildings, we ask anyone to send first contribution ammount for becoming an active member to my acconut (or anyone who will become a guild officer). We'll then remove the the then weakest active or a passive contributor according to our guild score table, instead of those who neither want to become active nor passive contributors. Any more questions are welcome. Auction ends with any next brawl timer.

Gratulieren will ich heute unserem langjährigen Spieler @sodom-lv.

Continued from last time:

I again have received numerous weekly author and curation reports from F.R.I.D.A.Y.
Congratulations to those who were active that week! I highly recommend setting up the bot to get occasional notifications of activity, not just for yourself but of others too. So here is another round of applause to those who triggered reports:

@sodom-lv, @geom, @anjanida (my account), @untzuntzuntz

You are not blogging yet? Every day can be your first day! Not only can this grow your own deck and our guild buildings, but increases your Guild's and Splinterland's visibility.

If you are not in the list above, and should actually appear there, my bot is not set up for this or is not working reliably. Then I look forward to a hint on this.

Now again, my statistics drafts from the 297th, 298th, 299th, 300th, 301st and 302nd brawls are again pre-published at https://hackmd.io/@anjanida. Everyone is welcome to add to it, too, i.e. with your battle links and some short commentary to it, for becoming a beneficiary when it is published final. It is just that this draft at HackMD is not public for anonymous editing but needs you to sign-in with your individually registered account.

Thanks for mentioning me.
Wow, time flies so fast. I didn't realize that I had been playing Splinterlands for 4 years until reading your report.
I remember when I joined the Guild; it was really tough to compete with others to stay in, but it was also a lot of fun.
And I see you were really active in Hive 4 years ago.

Hello @anjanida! It's remarkable how you follow a clear line with the guilt. I join you in wishing for more attention to the play factor. What I like most is to promote the rare FHREE factor.
