My first time fainting- A near death experience.

There is a saying that their is
power in the tongue but I never really believe that until I experienced it's power.

I remember while I was younger,I would see people faint then I would wounder "Is fainting real?","how does it feel to faint? What triggers one to faint?" All this I keep asking myself until last year when I said to myself that I want to know how it feels to faint and guess what?..

What makes me write about this is because of this is the same time and season it happened to me. in my region people with AA genotype do fall sick one way or do other, which I happen to be one.

So back to the matter. It was so early in the morning and someone came rushing to my door that my next door neighbor had fainted. Fainted? I asked myself. We rushed down to her apartment to revive her with all we can and gracefully, she was back to life.

As I stare at her all weak, trying to regain her strength. I kept wondering in my mind. "Ever since I was born I have never fainted is it that I am supernatural being or so" then I said to myself,I would love to know how it feels.

It wasn't up to a week,I started feeling sick. I remember the day perfectly,it was 19th of December 2020,same day i am writing this. I took some test and started treating maleria. Yeah,I am mostly prone to maleria and typhoid disease during December period because of the weather.

I felt it was normal as I didn't take my medication seriously. Weeks went by and I wasn't any close to getting better. That was when it dawned on me that it was really serious. I would struggle to breathe and mostly..I was so weak, having sleepiness nights and unable to work properly.

One morning when I started feeling nausea. I would stand up switch my sleeping position to get better. Still the feeling to vomit kept coming. I vomited, thinking that was all till everything started getting dark.

I was seeing object around me in fainted colours then I struggled to walk myself outside to breathe in some fresh air. I didn't know when I lost consciousness and hit my head on the edge of a staircase. I was gone for shortly 1mins.

Coming back to life,I saw few of my neighbors gathered around me and I could remember the first sentence that came out from my mouth was "did i faint?" It was so unbelievable because i was wondering where my soul went to within that short period of time. Checking myself,I realized I was bleeding at the top of my head. Hitting my head on the edge of the staircase gave me a very deep cut and some scratches on my face (check first picture above for more details) I was also told that I convulsed in the process.

I sat down, laughing at myself tho i knew it wasn't funny. I was amazed that now I can finally tell how it feels to be off the world for a while. What if i had fainted inside where no one was around,is that how i would be gone forever? I had cause this upon myself because i was the one who wanted to know how it feels to faint.

Days passed by.. I started getting better, then I recovered fully but that scar,I still carry with me till now. Each time i look at myself in the mirror and i sight the scar i always thank God for the grace of being among the living. Lesson learnt: I would never wish bad things upon myself no matter how perplexed and impossible I see it.

At least now that you've experienced what it feels like to faint, you'll have a word of advice to those aspirants who also want or should I say wish to embark on such a rough journey of fainting.

Fainting isn't a good thing or situation is love to find myself or anyone else because through fainting, one could actually lose his or her life. I'm glad you're fully recovered. Never wish for any bad thing in life but always be thankful for everything you have. Stay safe !PIZZA

Thanking God for life. I appreciate you didn't die when you fell down the stairs. We should be grateful for life always.

Wow!
This is quite touching but then God you are living to tell the story. I have always wondered what it feels like too but I do not wish to experience it. Hearing about it is enough 😂……..

That is bloody weird bruv, how and why would you wish yourself to faint????!! Well, you're not alone. I haven't fainted before and at one point in my life I wished I fainted too, then I stopped, haha

Hallelujah you're alive and well today.
