Hello guys!

Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post. It's not long since my previous post, and I'm back with a second post to follow Splinterlands Mage Secrets Battle Challenge Unprotedted. These rulesets make all monsters lose Armor, and cannot give or give receiving Armor from buffs. I think these rulesets appear very often during rank pushes, and I chose one of the most interesting battles that I will share with you.

Well, I'm not a professional player or a tournament hero. I merely like to discuss battles and strategies that in my opinion are worthwhile. I participated in this combat using my Scholarship account with IGN BLTZR-WIZARD-700. I played in the Diamond league at modern rank while using a Full main Chaos Legion edition card and several Reward cards whose level was not max. The battle strategy that I shared may not be effective in other leagues because of the different levels of each league.

Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!

BATTLE PREPARATION

Challenge Rules

RULESET: Unprotected

Description:
All armor is removed from units and one cannot gain armor.

Shield and Divine Shield are unaffected.

Battle Rulesets

The rulesets in this battle are:

• Unprotector (Monsters do not have any Armor and do not get Armor from abilities or Sumomner Buffs)
• Heavy Hitters (All Monsters have the Knock Out ability)
• Rise of the Commons (Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles)
• Mana Capacity 58
• Active Element Fire, Water, Life and Death.

Line Up and Strategy

In this battle, according to the rulesets above, I decided to use monsters with massive damage and high speed by utilizing the range troops of the Life element. This is because Rise of the Commons makes us only able to use Common and Rare monsters, so the monsters we can use are very limited. So I put together the line-up as shown in the table below:

General Sloan	Summoner	+1 Range	As I said above, I will use a strategy by carrying out aggressive attacks using monsters that have great damage and high speed. And because of the Unprotected rulesets, even with range monsters, we don't need to break the Armor first to reduce the target's HP. So I use General Sloan which will increase range attack damage combined with several range monsters as the main attacker. This will really be the right moment for the range monster to perform.
Drybone Barbarian	First	Enrage, Retaliate	I chose Drybone Barbarian because this monster has high HP and even the original stats don't have Armor but have great damage as well as Enrage and Retaliate abilities. This will be very effective for the main tank as well as attackers in this Unprotected battle.
Pelacor Conjurer	Second	Flying, Reflect Magic, Devine Shield, Phase	The Pelacor Conjurer became the second tank, replacing the Drybone Barbarian as a tank if the monster had died. Even though it doesn't have damage, Pelacor Conjurer is very effective as a tank, especially in unprotected battles. This is because with mana cost of only 2, this monster has a high HP with high speed which is accompanied by the ability to fly, and also a phase to avoid enemy attacks. To strengthen the defense, this monster also has the Reflect Magic ability where the magic attack that hits this monster will also return to the attacker, and the Devine Shield ability where the first attack for this monster will be ignored.
War Pegasus	Third	Flying, Shatter, Demoralize	War Pegasus in third place, has a large HP and Flying ability combined with high speed and damage with an initial stats of 4 range attacks. I think this monster is very strong and can be the main attacker, as well as being an alternative tank because of its stats and abilities. This monster also has the Shatter ability, an ability that can crush any amount of Armor if its attack hits the target. Although this ability is useless in this battle because from the beginning all monsters do not have Armor. In addition, as a support monster, it also has a Demoralize ability that will reduce the magic damage of all enemy monsters.
Supply Runner	Fourth	Swiftness, Strengthen	The Supply Runner in fourth place is a neutral monster that has the ability of Swiftness for speed buffs by providing increased speed for all friendly monsters. This monster is also a range monster, so its damage will also increase, because it is combined with General Sloan.
Venari Crystalsmith	Fifth	Thank Heal, Dispel	Venari Crystalsmith is both an attacker and a supporter. This monster has an initial stats of 3 damage ranges with high speed. Of course, the damage will increase because it is combined with Genareal Sloan. In addition, as support, this monster has the Thank Heal ability, where this monster will become a healer for the monster in the first position. Obviously this ability is very useful in Unprotector battle because all monsters only have HP without Armor. Another ability, Dispel is even the most sought-after ability because of the ability to eliminate all positive influences received by the target, including active Bloodlust or active Martyr will lose its influence if hit by Dispell.
Pelacor Arbales	Last	Double Strike, Flying	Although Pelacor Albares' speed is relatively low, this monster has a double Strike ability where due to General Sloan's abilities and combos, this monster will have 8 ranges of damage in one attack.

STRATEGY DISCUSSION

I won this battle quite easily, because the strategy I applied worked effectively. General Sloan's aggressive attack with the range monster army is an unexpected surprise.
