LOST LEGENDARIES !! Splinterlands Mage Secrets Challenge
Hello guys!
Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post. I'm writing this post to follow Splinterlands Mage Secrets Battle Challenge Lost Legendaries. I don't know why, these rulesets have been hard to come by lately, but in the end I was able to share this very interesting battle with you even though I had to spend a lot of energy in the process of searching.
Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on modern battles on Diamond leagues using my scholarship account with IGN btlzr-wizard-700 , and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leagues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.
Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!
BATTLE PREPARATION
Challenge Rules

RULESET: LOST LEGENDARIES
Description:
Legendary units may not be used.
Legendary summoners are still available.
Battle Rulesets
The rulesets in this battle are:
- Unprotected (Monsters do not have any armor and do not grt armor from abilities or Summoner buffs)
- Taking Sides (Neutral Momsters may not be used in battles)
- Lost Legendaries (Ledendary Monsters may not be used in battles)
- Mana Capacity 23
- Active Element Fire, Earth, and Life.
Line Up and Strategy
You can see the line-up of both teams in the picture below. Both teams use decks from Fire Element. I use Summoner Tarsa, while the opponent uses Conqueror Jacek. At first I also considered using Conqueror Jacek, but because this is a middle mana battle while Conqueror Jacek who is a Legendary Summoner requires 7 mana, so I considered which limitation it was so I preferred Tarsa.
In the first position opponent line-up, there are Exploding Rats who have Blast, Redemption, and Truestrike abilities. The second position is Antoid Platoon with Shield and Scavenger abilities. Third place is Riftwagacther monster, Technowizologist with Stun and Fury abilities. And in the last position there is the Soulbound Reward Card, Pyrewatch Devil which has the Life abilities of Leech and Dispel.
I'll describe the strategy of each monster I chose for this battle in the table below:
Monster | Position | Abilities | Strategy |
---|---|---|---|
Tarsa | Summoner | +1 Melee, +1 Health | Compared to Conqueror Jacek who has greater mana, I chose Summoner Tarsa who only has 4 mana. I think this will be more suitable because the mana in this battle is very limited, which is only 23. In addition, with an attack army that has an average melee damage, Tarsa will increase attack damage on these monsters. |
Tusk the Wide | First | Void, Inspire | Tusk The Wide who has a Void ability that reduces attacks from magic attacks in anticipation if the opponent uses magic troops from Earth elements. In addition, this monster also has an Inspire ability that will increase melee damage, so if combined with Tarsa, then all Melee monsters will get +2 damage melee attacks. This monster also has a very high HP of 14, only with 6 mana. |
Radiated Brute | Second | Reach, Enrage | Radiated Brute, a monster specialist in second place because he has the Reach ability. Although there are several other monsters that have Reach abilities, Radiated Brute is still the favorite in both middle mana battle and high mana battle. This monster also has an Enrage ability where if the opponent's attack hits this monster's HP, then the speed and damage of this monster will increase 2x. |
Tenyii Striker | Third | Sneak, Dodge, Backfire | Tenyii Striker is one of my favorite Fire monsters, because it has a very high Speed and has Dodge and Backfire abilities, where this monster is very suitable as a rear tank to dispel opponents' Sneak. Although this monster is a Sneak monster, it can be said to be the main attacker, because it has great damage, plus this monster will also get 2 Melee damage buffs from Summoners and Inspire monsters. |
Lava Spider | Fourth | Snipe, Snare, Poison | The posion that Lava Spider had caught my attention. Moreover, this mnster is a monster Snipe. Apart from fulfilling the remaining mana capacity, Lava Spider also has a role as an attacker in this battle. I deliberately put it in the final position, because Range monsters will not be able to attack if they are in the first position without special abilities or special rulesets. |
BATTLEFIELD ARENA
I've also included a youtube video of this battle that you can play right away.
The battle begins with buff and debuff parties from all Summoners and Monsters. It is clear that the opponent has a very much higher speed because he gets a +2 speed buff from the Summoner. In this first round, all my attacks missed except Lava Spider's attack on the Technowizologist.
Almost the same as the first round, the attacks of my 2 monsters missed hitting the opponent. Luckily, Tenyii Striker's attack which has 7 melee attacks hit the Pyrewatch Devil which only has 5 HP, so this monster immediately died in one attack. Then the last attacker, Tusk the Wide who only has a speed of 1, his attack hits the Exploding Rats who have a speed of 9. This is really unsorrowful luck. Dead Exploding Rats activate the Redemption ability, so all my monsters receive 1 melee attack. Radiated Brute dies because of this Redemption. So there are a total of 3 monsters that died in this round.
The third episode begins, the Technowizologist's attack on my Lava Spider, then retaliated directly by Lave Spider where the Poison of this monster also directly infects the target. Finally, the Technowizologist died after getting an attack by Tenyii Striker. On the opponent's side, there is only the Antoid Platoon left alone, while I still have 3 monsters left.
The fourth round began with Lava Spider's attack on Antoid Platoon, then also followed by Tenyii Striker's attack so that Antoid Platoon's HP was only 1 left. Tusk the Wide died in this round, this is by my side only 2 monsters left and the opponent only 1 monster left.
The fifth round was the last round, Antoid Platoon died after being attacked by Lawa Spider and Tentii Striker. I won with 2 monsters left. You can see the final result of this battle in the picture below. Well, I got the results below by receiving a delegation of 50k SPS.
CONCLUTION
The strategy I implemented worked very effectively. Ak won this battle in 5 rounds with 2 monsters remaining, namely Tenyii Striker and Lava Spider. Even though it has a big speed difference, it's not impossible that your attack will hit the target correctly, if RNG God is with you.
