Best Combo to Defense Melee, Shield and Demoralize Ability! Weekly Battle Challenge

Hello Everyone!
I am back again with My post. In this chance, I would like to participate Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge. I choose theme Disintegrator monster, same as Splinterlands theme. Its also challenging for me because I never used this monster in My battle. But now I will try My best strategy to battle using this monster.

MONSTER INFO, STATS AND ABILITY

The crazed tinker, Morloth, created the Disintegrator within his lair in the Badlands. Assembling various parts of other creatures together, he spent an age designing and building his masterpiece. The only problem was bringing it to life. He tried taking the fierce lightning from the sky and filling the monstrous body with raw energy but that didn’t work and only damaged its limbs. He experimented with molten power from within the ground but that only burnt away its flesh and hide. It wasn’t until he had a visit from a cloaked agent of chaos and was gifted the answer to his problems that the engine burst into life.

Disintegrator is neutral common monster from Chaos Legion edition that have 7 mana cap, melee attack and have demoralize ability at level 1. This monster is available in starter card, so everyone can using this monster without having own or rent. You can used this monster in all element deck because its neutral monster.

In higher level at silver league, Trample ability will be opened, and at gold league Knock Out ability will be opened and max level from this monsters will open Retaliate ability.

On the other hand, This monster have 2 damage magic attack that can gain 1 when combination with Obsidian. 3 damage magic is good as attacker

Round#1

  • Round#1 start with buffs and debuffs from all monsters and Summoners. As you can see, Opponent using same strategy with me, put Disintegrator in second place. At the beginning, I think My deck is more solid than Opponent deck. The thing that makes me superior is that I combine a monster with Shield ability at first place and Disintegrator in 2nd place, and I have a monster with Silence Ability so it can reduce magic attack.
  • My Regal Peryton get first chance to attack.
  • Mycelic Slipspawn Opponent was died in tis level, there are 5 monsters left in the end of this round.
  • There is one miss attack, which is when the Mycelic Infantry attacks the Unicron Mustang.

Round#2

  • Same as like Round#1, Regal Peryton get first chance to attack. Its because they have highest speed.
  • My Myelic Slipspawn was died in this round, 5 monsters left both of two sides.
  • Another interesting thing is My Mycelic Infantry just get 1 attack from Unicorn Mustang then Their health restore again because Goblin Psychic heal this monster.

Round#3

  • Unicorn Mustang was died in this round, and Disintegrator as a tank can not hit Mycelic Infantry because just have 1 melee attack.
  • There are 4 monsters left at opponent side and 5 monsters left in My side.

Round#4

  • Disintegrator wa died at the beginning of Round#4.
  • Regal Peryton as a tank from Opponent side can not defense attack from Mushroom Seer and Goblin Psychic, then this monster died.
  • Goblin Psychic in Opponent side attack Mycelin Infantry and then died when Mycelic Infantry counter Her attack.
  • In the end of this round, just Supply Runner left.

Round#5

  • Supply Runner died because attack from Regal Peryton and Mushroom Seer. I win with 5 monster left.

DID MY STRATEGY IS WORK?

As you can see, My strategy work effectively in this battle. Using monster with Shield ability as tank and monsters with Demoralize ability at same time make My tank very strong with melee. This strategy is effective in high mana, because using two monsters as tank is need a lot of mana. I think best time to use Disintegrator is in Super Sneak Rule sets, Close Battle rulesets.

I will think twice to used Disintegrator as main tank in low mana, I think their health, armor, damage attack, and speed is not powerful enough. The only thing that makes this monster interesting is Demoralize ability and its not useless when we meet magic attack.

CONCLUSION

  • Disintegrator is monster with Demoralized ability in level 1.
  • The best time to used Disintegrator is in high mana cap, Super Sneak rulesets, and Close Battle rulesets.
  • The Optimal strategy using Disintegrator is used same time with Shield ability monsters.
  • Disintegrator is not powerful when used as main tank because high mana cap, low attack, low speed, and not decent health.
