I'll show you how I utilized the pirate captain powers in my battles in bronze III.
my rank silver III dropped to bronze III but my enemy still bronze I and silver III. cause my rent expired.
i am still trying rent cheap card at peakmonsters
rent cheap more profit.
cause you can bid rent card at peakmonster.

buying pirate captain at peakmonster.com you can try bid $3.9 maybe someone will sell to you or you can try rent the card at peakmonsters.

I use a monsters line, as indicated in the figure below.

summoner bortus -1 magic attack for enemy.
battle orca at front cause he good tanker and many health point and cheap for rent.
pirate captain i use this card cause can attack second row enemy. he is ranged card.
crustacean king i use this card cause can give health recovery to the monsters at front.
summoner enemy alric strombringer.
this strategy only for water element Summoner: Alric strombringer +1
cause alric will give venari wavesmith +1 magic damage. and bortus will counter alric strombringer.

5.venari wavesmith will give all friend armor. best card i think. for low player to use.

6.cocarine have flying abilty have chance dodge enemy attack.
cannot dodge magic attack.
