DEC Batteries Sale is Live.. I Purchased Dec-B Tokens

Splinterlands team has come up with another innovation and this is called Dec-B aka DEC Batteries. This is a new addition to the game and the use case has not been enabled yet but based on the details provided I expect that it will bring more benefits to the investors who buy these batteries. A community proposal was submitted in the last week of Dec'22 and it was approved by the community. This is a good thing that things can be added or changed only if the majority of the community agrees and since in this case they agreed so now its here.

What is Dec-B

This is a new token that has been launched by Splinterlands and this is like a copy of Dec but with additional benefits and use-case. The token is not transferable and even the use case is not yet billed. Its like another addition to the game that will require further development first and then only we can expect to use and that is common. I am sure that the team is working behind the scenes to launch it soon and I look forward to using it.

DEC-B tokens will be non-transferrable, so they can only be spent in-game in the future using the same account from which they were purchased, and all purchases of DEC-B are final and cannot be refunded since the tokens used to purchase them will be burned.

Dec-B Sale is live now

The sale for the Dec-B token is live now and it will last for 60 days or until all 2B DEC-B tokens are sold out, whichever comes first. We can use either DEC or voucher tokens to buy and there is an option to choose either one both on the payment page. Whatever token is used to buy Dec-B will be burnt so there is no way to cancel and get the refund because of this burn. This is good I think because now this will reduce the supply of DEC and voucher tokens so we can expect price appreciation down the line.

I have purchased 20k Dec-B tokens using vouchers. I earn vouchers every day through SPS and license holding and I keep on accumualting. I have used 100 vouchers today but I might buy more tokens later this is good to start. There is no such goal I have with this new token but surely I will try to buy as much as possible and most probably I am going to use my voucher tokens. As per the details provided this new token will provide me benefits later in buying the assets in the game. Anyways my plan is to buy more assets in the game so with Dec-B I hope to get better benefits. I never want to miss the fun and this is why I buy almost everything in the game and its also because I trust the team. They do whatever is good for the game project and community of course.

I look forward to having more details about the token utility and expect that this is going to make things better. Its a surprise as of now but we are going to see the same in the same year and while lands are expected this year so there will be a lot of excitement. Even the sps node validator will be enabled so altogether this is going to add so much fun and excitement to the game. I am very much excited to explore the new things in the game. What about you?
