What is The Aventurer's Guild?
The Adventurer's Guild or TAG for short is a text based RPG paying homage to some of classics. The game is in closed Beta and based on the Wax blockchain but played through Discord. TAG is an NFT-based RPG that revolves around creating a character, finding equipment and fighting monsters through quests or random encounters.
TAG is set in the land of Eaglesreach and as an adventurer you start in Guildtown. You begin as the starting class of Adventurer with no equipment. Over time and many monster's slain you will collect materials to make equipment or skills and you will earn the native cryptocurrency $GUILD. At level 5 you will be able re-class into a fighter or caster, focusing on physical damage or magical damage respectively.
The core gameplay is focused around random encounters with monsters and quests, of which there is a daily limit. Each random encounter will give you XP and a chance at dropping an item of some $GUILD. The quests are longer and more story-driven. They will reward higher XP, some $GUILD and the chance for an item drop.
As you level up you will also be able to apply statistics to your character. They are broken down as follows:

| Constitution | Decreases damage taken |

| Speed | Improves dodge chance and likelihood of going first in combat |
| Charisma | Improves companion/pet damage as well as healing |
| Luck | Improves Crit Chance, Crit Damage, and other in game rolls. Does NOT affect drop rates |
The only way to access the game at the moment to start playing and earning is through a Beta Pass. Which is most easily obtained through the secondary market.
There are many deep aspects to this game that are yet to be fleshed out. So, not very knowledgeable on this, but what does one need in terms of NFTs to have a good go on TAG?
You need to Beta Pass at the moment to play. Then you should aim for either the training sword (Fighter profession) or the training staff (caster profession) that will set you up well. Both items required a basic workshop pass and three branches to make.
