Torchy Myrmidon: A Fire Element Tank That Can Take and Deal Damage

Today I got a chance to play a very excellent battle which was quite interesting for me. The total mana cap of this battle was 28 which has always been my favorite. The most special thing about it was that it was a 4 vs 7 battle.

I had fewer monsters and the opponent had more. In such a situation winning becomes even more difficult but luckily I won this battle. The main reason I kept my focus on strong monsters which is a game changer.

In a 28 mana battle the selection of monsters becomes a little difficult because due to low mana the confusion increases about which monster should be chosen and which not. If a wrong selection happens then the battle can slip out of hand from the start.

That is why instead of taking more monsters I focused on fewer monsters so that selection remains easy and placement can also be better. High health monsters are more working in low mana battles and thats my focused strategy always.

I focused the most on the tank because in low mana battles the role of the tank is the most important. If the tank is strong and survives for a longer time then backline monsters get a good chance to attack. With this strategy I made my team and placed one powerful monster on the frontline and another tank right to the next.

In this battle my favorite monster was Torchy Myrmidon which is a powerful monster of Splinterlands. It belongs to the Fire element and does melee attack. Its biggest quality is that it stays on the frontline, gives heavy damage and also tolerates hits.

Torchy Myrmidon has some excellent abilities which make it special. Its melee attack is quite strong which quickly eliminates enemy monsters. Because of high health it stays on the field for a longer time.

At higher levels it gets the Shield ability which reduces damage from melee and ranged attacks. That is why it proves to be a perfect tank in low mana battles. It proves to be dangerous monster against enemy units.

But like every monster it also has some weaknesses. Against magic attack it is not very effective because magic ignores armor. If the opponent brings a magic heavy team then Torchy can take damage quickly. Therefore understanding battle rules and the opponents strategy is also important.

Because of this monster I got success in this battle. Its strong abilities and durability impressed me a lot. I just want to say that in low mana battles planning is the most important thing.

If you choose the right tank and placement is correct then victory can be achieved even with fewer monsters. This battle was a memorable experience for me and Torchy Myrmidon has now moved higher in my list of favorite monsters.
